Logs would be nice. It may be memory leaking, that can kill your framerate.

A change in the way liquids work in 1.5.2 will completely deplete every liquid in your world when it 'converts', so no, it's not really compatible. The 1.5.2 beta pack isn't very stable at all to run a server on, so you should probably try and stay with 1.4.7.

Go to private packs in the top right, enter 152wgt to get the 1.5.2 beta pack with gregtech, and then put in 152ngt to get the pack without gregtech. They're very unstable however, and they won't be forwards or backwards compatible with either 1.4.7 or 1.6.

Turtles are basically a coders' response to having somebody tell them that something isn't possible. "F*** you, I'll just write some code and make it possible" I'm a terrible coder so I prefer to do things the hard but creative way. That also probably explains why I like to make factories...

TMI came before NEI. (The history is invedit < TMI = NEI, the left being the oldest and the right being the newest) Not really sure why chickenbones needed to make his own take on TMI when the FTB team could have just used TMI. I'm assuming it would be because of permission issues.

So, I'm testing my resonant rise modification modpack, but I've run into a problem. I'm actually out of keys to bind. The numpad is gummed up, all the letters are taken and I can't use the numbers above the letters because those are all taken. I've also taken up these: [ \ ] ; ' , . / - =...

Don't get an exo-suit, I made one and the mechanics were extremely glitchy. The running wall jump worked only 10% of the time (although it was cool when it did work) and the shoulder mounted piston didn't do anything. The cobble generator is nice if you want a constant supply of cobble, but...

This is really easy. You don't even need to use pistons, you can just sit in the middle. Make sure that you build it out of something that endermen can't pick up. I learned this the hard way. SEVEN TIMES.
