Just an FYI, you can ride MFR conveyors and they can do 90% of what pipes can do, with easier material requirements. They're really fun.

That makes sense only if you know what your minimum permgen size should be. For a minecraft client its probably more trouble than just enduring a pause during startup to settle at a good number.
