    make sure if you upgraded from the beta server pack, that you dont have 2 versions of GT in your server mod folder.

    So if i get this right. You can connect to your server that runs local. Your friend Cannot connect to your server. But your friend could connect to your vanilla server. Now i suggest looking at. What port is the FTB server on. also is there a firewall that might block any outside connections...
