I flew around for another 30 minutes, if not an hour. Not a single greatwood or silverwood. Hmm...

World was created on a fresh 1.0.2 install with BOP biomes enabled. After flying in 1 direction for over 30 minutes, I did not see a single thaumcraft greatwood or silverwood tree, or even a vanilla biome. I know DW20 is a big fan of Thaumcraft, but his S6 videos haven't got up to that point...

Start over with a fresh 1.0.2 install and a new world. See if it still happens. I created a world last night, and flew in one direction for over 30 minutes. Never saw anything out of the norm. The only problem I saw was Thaumcraft trees don't seem to spawn?

The nice thing is the universal config is it's already put into the packs, it's as simple as dragging a dropping a mod to add it... Assuming that mod is listed in the universal config list.

Just checked on my new DW20 1.0.2 world, there's definitely quartz and lots of it. Nothing changed from defaults.

DW20 has already use 3 quartz in his LP, so it has to be there. My guess is another mod is controlling it, so they disabled one. Remember Quartz tends to spawn at around medium level, not too deep or too high. If you're near bedrock you won't find any, unless something has changed.

I haven't tried since 1.0.0, just updated the pack to 1.0.2. Seems to not have this problem or maybe it's just luck. OP try updating if you haven't.

It does, the terrain was unplayable for me. Tried about 6 worlds and they were all the same. Small biomes, about a 10:1 water to land ratio, jarring problems with blending the biomes together, etc. I've watched DW20's first two videos on this pack, and he didn't have this problem. Hmm.

What other mod allows you to put energy wires, liquid pipes, item pipes, and redstone wire in 1 block, still have them all be individually customizable (filters, ins and outs, etc), and then create a facade that can match any texture to cover them? EnderIO does things no other mod does.

I'm pretty sure it's DW20 that has something against EnderIO, not FTB. It could be because it makes automation and hiding wires really simple/easy. It's been requested many times and I don't think he's ever acknowledged why it's not in. He's never spotlighted or used the mod in videos either...

You need to dedicate a good 10GB of RAM in able to run 128x textures on a 64bit OS with FTB Unleashed without any issues. Make sure you've done that in the launcher, if you don't have ~16GB of RAM and 64bit, then stick to 64x. Even setting it to 9GB for me results in crashes every hour or so...

In my test world I made a liquid boiler and the power needed to make ethanol was definitely lower than the power generated. However: A) Solid boilers can be powered up fast with firestones, B) 2 tree farms can power 3 36HP solid boilers but only 1 liquid boiler, C) Your going to get more power...
