By installer do you mean the file you download from the forge site that prompts you to download the server or just install it into the vanilla launcher..?

I got them downloaded from the forge site. I then put the vanilla server 1.7.10 jar and the forge one in a folder and ran it. It then generated all of the folders, including libraries.

With those resources, I would make a few thermal expansion machines and power them off something cheap to start off with, such as a steam dynamo. I would also make an induction smelter and make a few magmatic dynamos, and make 2 ender tanks, some energy+fluid pipes, and pump lava from the nether...

This happened to me too. When you launch MC and if it freezes, kill it with the console and try to relaunch. That's what I did, anyway.

No idea... I did take mods directly from my FTB infinity folder... Pretty much every one. The same folder where I already have a pretty big world. Could the server be getting confused unless I install fresh copies of the mods or backup my FTB infinity world, reinstall, copy the mods, and put the...
