[1.7.10] Technofirma - The Original Terrafirmacraft Modpack

Loving your modpack so far, just an issue: Last update broke my key binding (ctrl to sneak). I've been able to use this binding for every modpack since 1.4.7, but I'm unable to find which mod is conflicting. The key bindings menu shows it as free, so it must be either some sub-mod config I...

Don't forget exoplanets! Don't get me wrong, Tardis looked cool, but blood magic? meh... I'm in space. I generally skip on anything magical if I'm playing a tech modpack.

Anywhere I can't get with a rocket? :p Honestly was thinking about making an ender io spawner with those zombie mob eggs you get as rewards and curing a few to start a moon village, but no real point in the end.

Well, I think my time is up in Galactic Science. Visited all the planets, did most of the HQM that I was interested in. Swimming in resources, happily safe in my fully pressurized domes on the moon with minor bases in most of the planets. Was always looking for a modpack that was space-based...

I haven't been able to stop meteors at all with the version of galacticraft this modpack has. There's a config option for disabling block damage, but it does nothing atm. I just kinda deal with it, set up an audible alarm if things depressurize, and take a few minutes a day to clean up the...

I played with Open Computers in Infitech modpack... It's far more involved and difficult than computercraft, and has fewer peripherials. I used it mostly to dial my stargate. I never used turtles, but I understand robots have similar capability. That said, I also found it more fun to use...

Desh it is then! I added a Sag Mill recipe for GC silicon ore to the SAGMillRecipes_User.xml file. (not sure if you can add minetweaker recipes to enderio- and enderio has native support for custom recipes anyway) So all in balance, and thank you for dealing with the thousand other recipes...

Ok, I couldn't let it go. Love the modpack, wanted to use all the mods lol. I just added a line to your minetweaker script to add a sieve recipe with 50% chance for the ELN ingot issue. Quick and dirty, just appended it to the end of your customRecipes.zs. [/spoiler] Still requires you to...

Thanks Caithleen, just going to avoid the mod for now then, was really looking forward to making an alarm when a meteor unseals my base lol. Still an awesome modpack :)

Seriously, this silicon ingot issue is becoming a show stopper. Do I have to cheat the ingots in or what? I've read this thread in it's entierety and I'm unable to process the dust from galacticraft silicon ore. I've seen a couple of questions asked around page 25, but like them the info...

I can't for the life of me figure out how to get silicon ingots for electrical age. I've got 3 types of silicon, galacticraft, silicon I get from Sag Milling sand, and a ton of silicon ore I silk touched from the asteroid belt. I see a "modular systems ore processing" gui in NEI to smelt it...

Loving the pack so far, A little grindy, but really that just makes you think harder about what you really need to spend that iron on. As with everything minecraft, just scale up. Difficulty seems about right. Good Job! Just a couple of questions: Perhaps I've just been unlucky, getting 3x...

[1.7.10] Technofirma - The Original Terrafirmacraft Modpack

I actually tried that in the intervening time, still crashes. Basically anything with liteloader doesn't work for me, specifically matmos, which sucks, as I used to love that mod.

[1.7.10] Technofirma - The Original Terrafirmacraft Modpack

Hello Kev, I've stumbled across this modpack (avid TFC player here, but I've run into an issue starting your modpack. My game hangs at "starting game" with "[Client thread/ERROR] [LaunchWrapper/]: The jar file C:\Games\FTB\libraries\net\java\jinput\jinput\2.0.5\jinput-2.0.5.jar has a security...

    [1.7.10][LISTED] InfiTech 2 Modpack v3.2.21 [HQM][GregTech balanced hard-mode modpack]

BTW has anyone really got deep into Opencomputers yet? I'm finding some difficulty with the default configs for recipes, specifically the printed circuit board. Any sulfuric acid cell I make comes out as an IHL cell, which is unusable in the recipe. Also the raw circuit board you smelt...

Use an EnderIO tank, easily obtainable early game. It will fill/empty GC fuel cells just fine via GUI. You replied as I was editing my post... I should really get better at fully fleshing them out without 10,000 edits lol.

    [1.7.10][LISTED] InfiTech 2 Modpack v3.2.21 [HQM][GregTech balanced hard-mode modpack]

I've used Galacticraft extensively, even cargo rockets and transport from place to place on the overworld (using launch controllers and linked pads). I never bothered using the galacticraft refinery, and wasn't aware that there was an issue with fuel containers, as they've always worked for me...

Project Zulu animals drop alot of fur, which can just be shapelessly crafted into leather. As for the pipes, you would think right-clicking would do it like in previous packs, but no, you beat it with a gregtech wrench. FYI cabling is removed by wire cutters using same method.

I've wasted weeks of my life optimizing minecraft. My specs: I7 4790 EVGA 670gtx 4gb SLI 16GB RAM Triple monitor @ 6060x1200 resolution (bezel corrected) Don't allocate 5gb to minecraft. I've had better luck with 2.5. Server (provided you are running JDK) might take 4. Pushing minecraft to...
