It usually takes some time before the download works, even if it says it's ready. It will probably work soon. It seems as if you had the previous version installed, it will automatically try to run that version when the download doesn't work.

It's not possible without a considerable amount of work afaik. You're probably better off playing a dedicated skyblock pack. I'm not a packmaker so I could be wrong tho. It usually takes time before the ftb-people updates it.

It's because HQM is using items from one or more of the mods you've removed. Hats and Journeymap should be fine to disable, not so sure of BoP, and I'm pretty sure you cannot disable the aroma ones. If you want to increase your fps, try install fastcraft...

Grab the latest (http://www.curse.com/mc-mods/minecraft/223248-iguanas-tinker-tweaks/2223876) and the latest tinker's construct (http://www.curse.com/mc-mods/minecraft/tinkers-construct/2223934) and it should work fine :)

It's really easy and convenient to just add it though. Goes for pretty much any mods you like. It's one of the great things with this pack, you can easily add mods as there isn't much balance tweaks to wreck :). Did you remove any mods?

Just have to correct myself here, it doesn't mess up the quest Basic Tools. So it should be fine if you add it yourself.

I don't seem to find more than normal, and the config values are default. Maybe you got lucky ;). Iguana Tinker Tweeks are not in the modpack, you have to add it yourself if you want it. It doesn't seem to mess anything up as far as I know apart from one quest (Basic Tools). You might have to...

Don't forget Factorization, it adds silver ore :). I disagree with Egor66 when it comes to the rewards for a basic quests such as the wooden pick one. Please keep the reward bags to an maximum, as they provide a much higher incentive to complete even basic quests with the random reward...
