Here's my opinion: Ender tanks are a lot cheaper, the only hard part is the blaze rods Ender tanks can also be directly used with any sort of liquid storage device (bucket, can, etc) so it'd be a bit more convenient to use

The one thing IC2 adds is probably one of the greatest power drainers of any mod; the mass fabricator. With the thing you can literally craft diamonds if you build a good enough power infrastructure. It also adds nuclear reactors which have their own unique way of working, and is still a viable...

people want those features because they want compactability, having a bunch of pipes and tubes hanging out everywhere just doesn't look neat sometimes and is tougher to set up.

I'll typically use my power drill from dartcraft, diamond drill, or some sort of thaumcraft pick. I never really have a need for silktouch tbh
