I have absolutely no idea how that happened. Or how to fix it. There is an update for JABBA with some fixes, it will be in the next test update... but I have no idea how the bug he fixed could cause a chinese crash.
There is a blacklist we can add it to, and we will. There is also a couple ways mod authors can tell MFR not to use their entities in safari nets , so it may get done on the mod end as well.
TE machines can only be powered by RF. not MJ or EU. SO you will need a dynamo or and MFR generator or an MFR steam turbine. RF can power BC machines but MJ cannot power RF machines.
Yeah the victus thing is annoying.
Conduits and energy cells don't use gates. the energy cell outputs a redstone signal based on how full it is when used with a comparator. You might be able to use that somehow.
Place an energy cell beside it and use a lever to toggle the energy cell off when not using the carpenter.
So like this
conduit- conduit -energy cell- conduits with carpenter and centrifuge attached
Then you can shut off a whole section of the network when not using it just by flicking a...
Buildcraft is open source.
Most minecraft mods do not use truly "unique" ideas. I am happy there are more options. BC doesn't fit in every pack theme I do. Having a different automated mining option is useful. It isn't identical to the BC quarry and its certainly not the first time the quarry...
Sometimes it strikes me a bit like TC4. The first couple times its kinda interesting. After a few repeats though I just want to move on to something else.
I could turn off the beds for the harder configs, people could still use the sleeping bag to skip night. It just wouldn't reset their spawns. Does tat seem reasonable for the hard configs? Not the normal ones... thats way too much for those.
Each mod dev/mod team only counts as 1 author. And no TiCon is not the reason GT is not in 1.6 packs.
TiCon is only in 5 out of 8 packs.

That actually explains it a bit. And I do have a tendency of making each version slightly more difficult than the previous. Cause I find some "easy route" and want it to stop tempting me.
