    So, I was able to do this before, for example, having an obsidian showel head and turning that into an ax head or a rod.. But now, I can't do it. Any ideas as to why or if there is a config option I'm not being able to find to turn that option on again? Thanks in advance.

    What I want is for the armor to have Diamond level protection, I can repair them with iron in an anvil so the don't even break, so no need to craft them per se..

If someone could make a small mod that allows Crimson cult armor (from thaumcraft) to be crafted with some diamonds or whatever, so they have diamond level protection...
