How does one go about getting started with the Universal Electricity mods? I've started on the Resonant Rise modpack, and I want to explore UE, never having touched it before. I don't really have the faintest idea of where to start, though.

If you have Twilight Forest, go catch yourself a Naga and see if that can break it. It can break bedrock, so it might be able to.

I've just started a Resonant Rise game. I'm trying to get the TC Smeltery up and running at the moment, to find out how it works. I think the first actual tech tree I'll go down is probably UE, as I've never used it before.

Note also that the information given here for the Arcane Furnace is (I believe) for Thaumcraft 2, and as such is completely and totally wrong for the Thaumcraft 3 Infernal Furnace that's in the FTB packs.

Not quite. If you have enough energy, you can overclock an IC2 Electric furnace to one operation per tick. That does take a stonking amount of energy, though.

How is it quicker? You have another crafting step. Mine's one step :P

Still more expensive than my method - using thaumium doesn't use up phials.

Best and cleanest way to do it? Thaumium and iron. Thaumium has more praecantatio on it than it takes to make it - if memory serves, one iron and four thaumium make five thaumium. It's a bit slow, but it's very clean. Note I could be slightly wrong on the exact ratios. It's definitely possible...

Building with something other than the snow bricks might be useful, as they can't be microblocked or turned into slabs or stairs. Trouble is, I can't find any light coloured blocks I like. Sandstone doesn't fit the aesthetic, and I find marble very ugly. Stone's darker than I'd like ideally, but...

How can you automate the MFR Auto-Enchanter? Trying to feed books into it. A router carries on shoving books into it even when the top slot is full, which destroys the books at a rate of knots. A hopper on top causes crashes. I can't regulate the router using gates because the gate apparently...
