Yes, that's faithful32. Anyway, I don't think it is the internal buffer unless the buffer of a redstone conduit is bigger then the energy cell itself (it totally drained my cell). It *solved* itself when I restarted Minecraft so I think there was some kind of bug.

I always keep VSync on as it actually makes everything smoother and it is useless to get more performance then what your monitor can refresh anyway.

I've seen it too with my son's computer but he solved it by using another mouse. Even though the mouse was ok in all applications it appeared to cause issues in Minecraft for some reason.
