Listen to Hiro, My wifes laptop was getting between 15 and 20 fps on her laptop and I followed the directions in my sig and what Hiro stated and now she gets over 100+ fps.. Try setting java to run on you videocard and not onboard... It should help.

I would like to do this.. I am over 30, my wife quit playing so i am bored of playing alone.. i have been on and off playing modded mc probably before the main release.. I howver didnt play the 152 update i stayed on 147 so some mods are new to me but i should be able to pick them up easily...

^^ He knows whats up.. Ya best thing to do if you are only going to use a couple mods is just to install forge and the mods.. You dont need FTB really unless you plan on playing with a billion mods..

Its not hard to set a server up.. download the file unzip it and hit server start... If you are having issues with people joining open port 25565 or something on your router.. Also wrong section... should have put this post in the server area here...

I updated yesterday server and client... the client kept telling me about something not installed on the client... nil.tile... I rolled back and will update at a later time... so all in all its not really a big deal, apparently however people are having issues with something with hidden...

What I would do is try and see what the particular key is for that on your keyboard and match it with the config.. Or maybe change the key you press for the mobs to something else.. If that doesn't work, meh.. I am not sure what to do.. Also you can use Dynmap for that overview for your map on...

Ya do what the guy above said.. I did the same thing.. Disabled Opis and just installed The zanmap. Actually I just deleted Opis..

how it looks in the JSTR is every item has its own texture.. so i guess ripping 147 textures down to each item would work.and just look in NEI and see what the item name is...

I wasn't complaining they were expensive I was saying coming from 147 it just seems way different... I did mess with it a bit in a test world I guess it is good but I kinda like the BC engines cause they were awesome and powerful... Oh well...

I tested the update to bc but the gui completely changed so I cant say much about the new one.. You dont have to add blocks to make the particular things now it just shows what you wanna make.. seen here.. But I am probably going to go back to the original one because I am weird like that...

Ya, I aint sure about these new engines... The tesserac's now only accept TE power... You cant add bc pipes to it anymore.. And it wont accept bc power to the tesseract to send elsewhere... Kinda sucks... The engine from what i understand is 4 mj compared to the combustion engine which is 6 mj...

Hey I noticed while testing a mod that the Filler gui is kinda messed up.. This is the 1st time I used the filler so.. I didnt notice it before in 147 so I figured I would let you guys know.. Just saying, I have been using this TP since you guys started it is awesome.. I like it alot..

I am coming from 147 to 164 and I havent messed with what is new with the mods yet.. I played with TiC for a sec but it seems complicated, I still havent got a smelter going.. I kinda miss xycraft for thier blocks and fabricator.. However I didnt like the make a tank anywhere thing, I used...
