i was experiencing issues at 4G, it was doing intermittent hard shudders. my computer by way can play BF4 on 3 monitors of eyefinity.. when I put the Ram up to 8G it does well. I'm running a set of 128 textures.

heh. yeah. I reduced down to 128 all over, and modified the RAM limit to 8G and the same 8G in the java arguments. it seems to work then. before uping the ram, I ran into issues with the Zan's Minimap not showing. but with more than 2G ram it worked. Using 8G of my available 16G

yep. the tinkeres mod is great that way. but, as I've done most of what I can think of in tinkerers. I don't know the comparable DMG of weapons from other mods. and I don't know the effective values of armor. like I thought HSA Steel would be way better than Tinker Iron armor. but its not. so...
