You can use whatever you want, if it can place first two snow blocks and then pumpkin on top of them and you have enough space for grinder it should work.

Personally, I like this much more because it works if you aren't in the 128 block radius.

When there was an activator and snow golem it can't place the block in front of it, so it places above him where the pumpkin belongs and it also helps order the blocks.

I have a simple cow farm and I decided to kill them with golems. But mobs killed by golems no longer drop experience. Is it bug or it should be like that?
