My base is in the overworld. AFAIK, the enderthermic pump only works in the nether.

Perhaps by default, yes, but it works in the overworld in MF2. I use it only in the overworld and only for clearing and gathering lava, not for lava power.

To clarify, in MF2 with default MF2 configs. I haven't touched any MF2 configs on my client or server.

Good to know. The only downside is it doesn't leave the area clear afterwards. I was kinda hoping to find some diamonds. :)

In the overworld in my experience, it almost exclusively leaves stone and sometimes cobblestone, which is easy to break with a TiCo hammer.[DOUBLEPOST=1391478261][/DOUBLEPOST]

Yes, I know the feeling. I, too, am used to the BC pump and how it truly clears lava, leaving stuff like diamonds and redstone exposed for easy pickings.[DOUBLEPOST=1391478361][/DOUBLEPOST]
I do have an enchantment table.

Activating a Division Sigil is not for the feint of heart. It requires something like midnight, can see the moon, a blood (animal) sacrifice, and then cursed ground pops, which spawns lots of mobs. It's pretty crazy.

oh no no no no... Don't want to use the sigil at all. Got no problem with the mobs. I'd rather wipe the enchants than remove its effectiveness like that.

It's kind of amazing how few mods actually have a pump even though many of them will use lava and other worldgen liquids. I have this ugly sewer pond near my base I was hoping to drain. I'm thinking of adding buildcraft in just for the pump. With TE's separation from buildcraft, it will have to add a pump to round out its capabilities.

The only way I can see to make lava en mass with MF2 is using phosphor (from bees) and sand in the squeezer, or the lava fabricator from MFR, which still requires an initial set of energy, and definitely not energy positive. The good news though is that the RF furnace is rather efficient, and would make a good charcoal producer, although an infernal furnace with some golems would create XP as well.

... What?

Anyway once it's activated you can place the enchanted tool above it and an enchanted book of the same level as the enchantment you wish to remove below the sigil. ex.

(Bane 2)Sword
Activated Sigil -----------------> (Bane 1) Sword
Bane 1 book

If you want to remove one level of each enchantment on the tool you can use a normal book but it also takes off 25% of the durability.[DOUBLEPOST=1391481147][/DOUBLEPOST]

... Magma crucible? Also don't XU liquid transfer nodes work like pumps? Maybe that's water only...

Hmm. Will have to try that. I have a feeling it may transfer the block below it, but once the source block is gone, it won't collect others. I'll start up a test world and see.

Extra Utilities
Version 1.0.2
- Enderthermic pump will now work in all dimensions by default (you can change this in the config)

Version 1.0
- Enderthermic pump works on other liquids

does using the enchanted book do any damage to the enchanted item? might use it, just might use the spell cloth instead.

These infernal mobs are just beginning to get ridiculous. It goes beyond just difficult and well into the absurd. I just rolled back 1.5 hours of game play due to these things. I don't mind the occasional tough mob that I have to battle differently. But with all the difficulty of having to level weapons, eat regularly to keep health regen in effect, then run into a spawner pack with 2-3 infernal mobs (some invisible) and a nearby potion trap that threw out poison potions and multiple infernals had the rust ability, that is all just too much.

Jaded is known to have a sadistic streak, but really?

Sounds normal.

So, this is considered Easy mode? And do you currently play MF2 in hardcore mode?
I added in mekanism so I don't count it as magic farm anymore. I do play technomage farm in hardcore though...
