I must agree, I am default all the way.... take a look at the butchering that sphax did to thaumcraft on davechaos' vids >.<

I like it quite a bit, special mention for the glass block.
Except the Stone bricks, because I can't understand why there is nearly more mortal than actual brick (and it looks blue-ish).

I didn't know that they finally posted a video on FTB, might as well go see what they are doing, I guess.
At least to know what to talk about in this thread next time^^
 
I'm so glad that the Yogscast put up a FTB section on their forum so we don't have to deal with their idiot fanbase. Most of the comments on Duncan's new video are along the lines of "y u no ee" and "where ee go", and "ur stoopid 4 changin"
 
I hope tekkit dies, they were famous because of the yogscast, let's see now, with forestry and railcraft in there, who still plays tekkit.

Quoting bwillb here, but I wouldn't say that's their fanbase, trust me when I say the major Youtube community is the most retarded community ever, it puts any bad forum community to shame even.
The Yogscast forum really isn't that bad or overrun by such idiocy really, if anything I would say most idiocy comes from idiot youtubbers joining up the forums.

Again with the "I hope Tekkit dies", really people, can we not just drop comments like these? As stated before, you're only fueling the hate/flame war that goes on between FTB and Tekkit players and it is complete nonsense, geeze, it's about as bad as hate/flame wars between Call of Duty and Battlefield or Xbox 360 and PS3, it's complete and utter nonsense. I mean, what do you benefit from Tekkit dying? What do you loose from it not dying? Not a single damned thing.

That's not so much different then the hissy fit people had here about Gregtech really. People will always throw hissyfits when something gets removed that they really liked or something is added that makes things more difficult.

Well its because they are the console and are cheaper. Everytime when a new gen of console comes out the hate starts to get more heated up. And at this time also the consoles catch up to the PC. But it is all a matter of cost and availability. Next generation consoles could cost $500 right? But the hardware that they have inside of them if you got a PC with that hardware it would cost a whole lot more than $500. I would expand the saying even more to say "Hate/flame wars between Xbox, Playstation, and Computers."

But yep, Yogscast going to feed the beast, I thought it would be funny cause they wouldn't have EE2 to get everything.

And remove the top competition from the modpack scene, remove any need to make it better and hurt all the consumers in the process.... yeah that sounds great.

Edit: Love the 'not have EE2 to get everything' statements... what youtuber out there doesn't either farm off screen or just spawn stuff in. Tell me where Direwolf or the mindcrackers do their mining on screen?

what's the point of saying "zomg no ee2 y u mov to ftb u soc unsuscrib", is not like FTB doesn't want EE, and tekkit will have next update, is simply that EE2 won't be updated anymore.

Finally saw Duncan's video. I'm a little frightened they imported the old world. I understand it's a lot less work for them, but their audience is going to have NO clue how to get started with all the changes since 1.2.5 mods. While it was kind of odd he linked Sphax but not FTB in his video description, frankly I kind of hope he keeps them in the dark, and they can clog up the Yogcast forums, lol.

aparently the PS4 will be $1200 on launch... and even if they were to catch up to PCs, they don't get upgraded for years after, so PCs will yet again stretch off into the distance while PS4 and Xbox(whateverthefucktheycallit) will again be left with aging hardware.
 
i was scared when the site went down, me:"oh no lalna what have you done!!!" when bluexephos uploads a vid about FTB we are screwed.
