Whats the best modpack for just playing with friends?

Direwolf20 is like a basic pack, and you will be playing pretty much similar to direwolf20 Season 3 SMP.. If this is your first time playing with mods, I'd recommend this pack and probably add yourself some mods like advanced machines and advanced solar panel..

If you are bored with vanilla IC2 you can try Mindcrack, and all of GregTech hard recipes can be adjusted from the config..

A pleasure, was mind-blown as I read it as well
just short summerize for *some* interessting aspects:

• possible to autocraft if items avaiable
• you can exclude certain mods from the NEI view
• you can show ONLY certain mods (like you search some specific block from a mod, but don't know what its called)
• you can stop equivalent items in the crafting preview
• you can have configs as in TooManyItems kinda
• you can view the last viewed recipe after looking at a subitem
• quickdrop items from inventory

Guys it isnt ftb but its epic and highly customisable: Resonant rise mainline from atl launcher is epic it has magic tech and you can choose all the mods you want and just forget about the others
