(It's also because I believe that magic is superior to technology :3).
True :\ (For now at least)Also, as far as Minecraft is concerned, I keep finding magic to be dependent on technology, due to technology being vastly superior in collecting and processing resources.
Magic mods are catching up though. Thaumcraft has automatic mining, a very stylish ore-doubling mechanic, automatic farming and a few other things. The problem is that it's very complicated to automate and by its nature limited in processing speed. Even so, If it wasn't for the problematic pathfinding of golems which makes them useless for tree farms and similar things, I would probably have a complete automated farming setup using only Thaumcraft resources and Logistics Pipes. Including the speeding up of growth. Also, as far as Minecraft is concerned, I keep finding magic to be dependent on technology, due to technology being vastly superior in collecting and processing resources.
sounds familiar :/I usually decide on a theme and base rules for myself off of that theme, so that all my worlds don't go up exactly the same as the last one.
And then I try to build all of my factory so that it fits in thematically with the aesthetic build. I mostly just use tech mods though.
My problem is that once I get excited about a build, every aspect of it gets so well theorycrafted that in my head its already built. So it gets a bit tedious actually implementing it in world.
Especially when the duct I was expecting to run through that wall cant because it intersects with an existing conduit, and now I have to redo the whole thing, ok I give up, it was so much more elegant in my head.
Yeah I never finish a build
