Well, I think Tinker's Construct or Natura now has this type of soil that damages the undead.

Consecrated Soil?
Doesn't help for spiders or creepers though.
Or creepers riding spiders - these actually exist!!!
One could alternative make a large cursed earth darkroom, to max out the hostile entity number and have no mobs spawning at all.

Yesterday I saw a skeleton riding a (Tconstruct) blue slime!
Hey I wonder if I have a screenshot...

The problem with MFFS2, is the bloody non-renewable forcicium - yes one can use compact forcicium cells but there's no way to automatically use those, and therefore they are by my definition non-renewable.
So yeah, no force feilds.
There is a config to enable UU recipes for it

Problem with that is if the config is off by default and the FTB team does not change it then it is meaning less for anyone that plays on a FTB server. As both server and client will need to enable it creating issues.

That is nothing, as creepers can now ride baby spiders as well or even worse a skelly on a baby spider.

Oh :3
I have NEVER heard them called that before.
Possibly due to the many kinds of spider I deal with... Giant Nether spiders, smaller nether spiders, Swarm spiders (TF) Hedge spiders (TF) Carmanite spiders (TF) cave spiders, and "spider"s.
Dang that's a lotta spiders.

I have an idea for the next misc Periferals release.
An ender man riding a spider - the Ender Dragoon.

I was thinking of making a soulshard spawner to max out the mob count also, how many mobs would I had to spawn to cap it out? And would I still be able to spawn even more mobs with a soulshard spawner even with the maximum mob count is spawned? And do mobs still spawn elsewhere in the world naturally or is it a certain radius that they cannot naturally spawn?

Do NOT encourage the spider proliferation! Dang creepy things! And they keep adding more of them! It's evil I tell ya!

On another note, what happens to a creeper riding a spider when they come across a few cats?

It's like a spider jockey - the spider is in full control of the Mobs, as is a pig when a player is riding one without a carrot in a stick.

If it actually touches one?
I dunno, I assume nothing.

I just want to re-quote my post and re-organize it a bit.

How many mobs is the maximum mob count? (I will be keeping them spawned by giving them pants or something, i will keep the chunks with the mobs loaded with a chunkloader)
Once that many mobs are spawned and loaded forever, can mobs still spawn elsewhere in the world naturally?
If yes to the previous question, do they spawn in different chunks, or do they have a radius of how far away they can spawn?
Can i still spawn mobs with a soulshard spawner once the limit is reached?

http://www.minecraftwiki.net/wiki/Spawn#Mob_spawning

1. 79 hostile mobs per player if they are all further than 17 chunks away from each other, determined by 17x17 chunk area around each player. Shared chunks only counted once.
2. Natural spawning will stop completely if mob cap is reached and they are not despawning.
3. The radius for actual spawning is 15x15 chunks but if further away than 128 blocks (in a sphere) from the player the mob will instantly despawn.
4. Yes, vanilla and soul shard spawners will still spawn mobs at their normal rates and will also therefore prevent natural spawns.
