Well, I don't know about months, but to get all that chrome you'll need to centrifuge about 3500 rubies (I think, I haven't worked it out, I just saw someone else say that ages ago). This requires either a hell of a lot of quarrying or a hell of a lot of UU matter... up to you.

Considering the amount of time I play, it probably will take slightly over a month from now. I have 6 ultimate hybrid solars, and an automatic scrap thing (3 redstone engines pulling cobble from a quantum chest, then into a recycler with 6 overclockers), going into 3 mass fabricators. It produces around 192 UUM an hour, and you need 14 stacks 2 stacks of rubies which isn't even enough for 1 fusion coil. And in the new Ultimate pack, iridium plates are a freaking pain to make (I transferred my world), so it'll be very hard to get more EU. Or can you recommend anything else that will produce tons of EU?

There's more rubys in a desert?

I believe it was mentioned that rubies spawn in slightly greater quantities in deserts, although I cannot remember when or where I heard this, nor can I find any source so feel free to discount it if you'd like. After a few dozen max. size quarries, you'll end up with enough rubies to make your coils. As well as enough of everything else except perhaps iridium.

Correct, you get more rubies from deserts. This is because both GT rubies and RP rubies spawn in deserts, whereas only RP rubies spawn in other biomes. The same goes for sapphires and ocean biomes.

Do you have a source for that? If so, please post it so we can confirm this claim. Thanks.

More automation.

If you have a setup that can produce them in 30 days, make another same setup and you'll have them in 15. Make three in total and you'll have them in 10 days. Make a frame machine or program a turtle to build more ruby-producing setups, and the amount of rubies you have will grow quadratically. (*)

(*) Not exponentially. Don't use that word if you don't know what it means.

The chrome is the easy part.
Build a tunnelbore at bedrock and automatically centrifuge the redstone.

But the problem is that I transferred my world, from a pack in which iridium plates were easier to make, so it's kinda hard for me to make 6 additional ultimate hybrids, when you need 8 ITNT for each plate.

Get a soul stealer sword, and kill a few hundred creepers. Set up a simple T5 grinder to collect gunpowder, and then chunkload it or stay nearby for a while.

You should be able to fill up a normal barrel within a fairly short time (an hour, maybe a bit longer if you steal gunpowder from it).

You could also use a T4 which you can get in half the time, but being able to turn off the system is worth the extra grind.

You can still turn off t4 spawners with redstone... just use redstone controlled lighting. Instead of one cable to the spawner you might have to wire 4 or so cables to lamps, but functionally the same thing.

I guess that is an option. I just need TONS of uranium, guess I have to get off my ass and set up some quarries. <.<

Ah, true. A easier way, though, would be to use sticky pistons to block some light holes on the top.

It is no where near as nice as being able to disable it with a simple redstone current, but half of the grind less for half of the spawn may be worth it to some people.

What about bees? You can get uranium from a line of bees, I believe. Otherwise, IC2 miners may not be a bad solution if you don't want to have to deal with the massive amount of extra stuff the quarry will get.

What are light holes and how do they work at night? :p

How is a sticky piston easier than a redstone lamp or the RP2 lamps/lighting that turn on/off with a redstone signal. It is literally the difference between running a jacketed cable 2 blocks down to the spawner, or enclosing the room and running maybe 8-10 extra red alloy/redstone sections to 4 lamps in the cieling that light up the area around the spawner. Unless it is a blaze spawner then you need more lamps.

A single sticky piston covers up a torch which should be enough light. Otherwise, two torches. And night is an attribute of living on the surface, and one that is best lost when playing MineCraft. Always expect it to be night time outside, because it'll normally end up being night when you need to go out. Best to do everything else underground for that reason.

Also, an even easier way: Make the light hole (or holes, if need be), and then manually cover them up with dirt blocks. No silly automation required. Or maybe use turtles. Everything is better with turtles.
