So a little thing along the lines of "What have you donetoday" but in minecraft.

I'll start!


Played a bit on my single player, mined a bit.

Calclavia asked for some testers for his 1.6.2 builds, so i decided to help. (Pictures below)

And watched mDiyo's stream.

What did you do today?

I lost the taste for minecraft a while back and have been doing other stuff (mainly mount and blade) but yesterday I tried a bit again. Started a new map on single player. Today I've been setting up automation and a basic ME system and fully automating the treefarm, as well as looking at some youtube videos for inspiration/the illusion of human contact without having to contribute to it. Tonight the plan is fix the greenhouse building itself, move the farm inside, and set up basic refineries.
 
i`ve only tested if mfr based unlimited charcoal/biomass farm is working without issues in unleashed.
 
Fly around in creative, trying to work out why no mobs are spawing in the overworld, oh, and bee breeding.
What should I be doing, learning AE. Been meaning to start it for the last few days...
 
Got the new Unleashed pack. Tried out some stuff with TiC. Still very confusing.

Other then that: Got 1.6 vanilla, started playing there.
 
I set up a pig auto-spawner and a slaughterhouse to supply myself with delicious meat ingots. No more scrabbling in the dirt for berries and barley for me! :)
 
Made a smeltery for the first time, fought a FUCKTON of slimes, made some alloys, and cursed when I found out that Greg disabled the SkyBlock method of lighting a Nether Portal - that, or the lava doesn't want to set fire to the wood I'm using to light up the portal.

I made a small mining ship above the mystcraft age I designed, was going to toss it's design into a builder and got the blueprint of it all nice and fancy but just now found out the builder doesn't work with the 1.4.7 direwolf20... which is very upsetting because it is an amazing machine and would have saved me since I was making the ship have a quarry on it with arcane bores on the underside so it would look all cool and miney but NOOOOOO (didn't fill the ship only made the basic structure) now I have to recreate it on every world I have... ugh... also found out for some reason my mystcraft portals aren't spawning a portal inside, kinda upsetting... overall today has been a big flop..

Day 2 of Unleashed.

Making a smeltery. Those bricks take a long time to smelt man. Pulverizing cobble... jesus christ
 
-Formalized my engine rooms (decorated/consolidated design, made things accessible and nice looking)
-Automated a few more machines, though the different, fixed configurations of all these IC2/GT machines make life asymmetric
-Made an auto-enchanter. It's like playing the lottery tbh.

tried doing stuff with bees (mainly because I need some wax)
going to the nether and dying there alot

I successfully activated a Division Sigil today! :)

I built a wall around the activation area and built two iron golems inside. Then, I emptied my entire inventory except for a safari net with a 1 HP pig in it, the division sigil, and a level 1 Charm of Keeping. At midnight, I placed the pig on the altar and punched it with the sigil.

I then immediately typed /home and got in bed. :P

Call the home part cheating, but the Charm of Keeping would have resulted in me landing at home with the sigil anyway.
 
I taught my AE system to craft gravichest and vajra and made one of each. The gravichest is stuck on an armor stand along with the other quantum pieces, since I don't have a Wither setup yet.

Struggling a bit with motivation to try and find more mystcraft pages since I seem to get ~95% biome pages from libraries with BoP enabled, I think I have 8 copies now of the most common one. Also, I miss the control you had in older versions of Mystcraft quite a bit... :/

Anyway, I think I'm approaching "game over" in the current world, since I'm not much of a creative / aesthetic builder, so it's basically close curtains once the tech progression is completed (or has been for a little while).
 
watched a creative quarry run to see how much of a 64K drive it takes up.
trying to work out the last of the bugs caused by adding GT to unleashed. right now its an iridum ore texture snafu.
