Appreciating all the answers guys! It really is helping me to do more diversity and get better at building! I went into rotarycraft blindly because why not right? It was fun, even though the gas turbines sucked cows into them causing a catastrophic failure blowing my entire house up but I am so happy! I figured out how to make jet fuel and I get to start a new world now as my house is completely demolished. I really appreciate everything you guys have done, if you wish to post more answers I would be appreciative as I like to read all the replies for what everyone does. <3

Heh, yeah, be careful of that. You can also get pulled into the turbine and killed if you're not wearing bedrock armor; it's heavy enough to keep you on your feet. Or, just enclose the back of it so nothing gets pulled in.

Best way to make jet fuel is to automate it. First step is a a massive sugarcane farm of some sort, for lots of sugar. Then I had one AC motor running 4 of the conversion machines. Two were making yeast with dirt and sugar, two were using yeast and more plant material to make ethanol crystals. These went into the fractional distiller IIRC, powered with another AC motor, to turn it into jet fuel. You'll need a few grinders setup to mass grind soul sand and netherrack too.

Consider the ECU below your turbines and gas/performance engines. They'll let you throttle down, as well as turn them off when not needed.

I like looking into stuff I haven't done before. I will watch lots of videos and streams and get ideas from them where to go next, or at least something to reignite my interest in Minecraft. For instance I just started watching episodes recorded on the vanilla mindcrack server. It has sparked my interest in how things in the game interact.

As for building something cool. Doesn't have to be a 1028*1028 254 big Castle. I usually just do small houses and try to make them look as nice as possible. With outside decorating and such it will while away a little of the time.
