I'd hate to see the Like button removed from the games section due to abuse.
?????I would too good thing I'm never on a computer when I like spam

That would be ideal, but realistically its simpler to just say "some people are spamming the like button in the games section, so, no more like button for anyone in the games section."I think it would be more likely for some people be unable to like posts within the game section.
?????
?? Specifically I mean your ability to Like posts. I'd hate for that to be disabled.I use mobile therefore no like button

Um, just to clarify: are you suggesting that if the FTB Forum implemented a measure to prevent you from Liking all posts, you'd endeavor to bypass their restriction?I know what you meant and I was formulating a plan to get around said restriction

I understand that, but like I said, its unsuitable for you to decide which of your actions to other people bother those people. If it was an action to yourself - liking all your own posts for instance - those people would have no justifiable reason to be bothered. But an action to them is different: its like a friendly touch on the shoulder of a person who dislikes personal contact. That's their business, their personal space and their prerogative. Saying "its just a touch, don't be a wuss" is unkind.Cause its what I do. It has become sort of a ritual for me, I wake up check all the threads I have started to spam likes, feel better for it. Maybe if everyone said they didn't like it I would stop completely but I know a little of me would die inside knowing I couldn't press that little button saying "thanks for posting, have a good day!"

That's why I raised the specific analogy I did. The traditional, ethical (and legal) argument is that "you can't do anything you want that makes you happy. That includes stabbing people, eating babies, and invading someone's personal space uninvited."While that is try it works both ways I can't control other people just as other people can't control me
If I gain some satisfaction from liking posts who are you to say that I can't be happy?
Sorry I really don't want this to turn into a fight, maybe a friendly debate, but not a fight

some people were just born to be miserable

You'd be helping proving me less correct if your stance was more positive than negativeI have always hated this statement
