I might want to GM* a game in a few weeks as well. Still have to cook up one though.

I had an idea about a point-based werewolf game.
Rough explanation of the idea:
There are wolves and townies.
Everyone starts with 10** points.
Everyone votes for lynches and each vote for a person takes one of his points.
If you have 0 points or less, you are dead.
The wolves each get one night-vote and they can spread their night votes to hit multiple targets at once, each hit taking one point from the target.
Normal victory conditions apply.
This concept may be combined with several known mafia or werewolf roles.

*Yes, GM is a verb now.
**may need to be less
Cool concept. You might run into troubles with inactivity, though; Jerks like me would just not vote in the lynch and hoard a ton of points. If you gave people too many points at the start, too, the game would drag on for ages.

Maybe change it so that a vote each day is free (and required), but people could spend more points to make their vote count for more? That would let you lower everyone's point amount, too, so that the wolves could burst a player down if they wanted to pool their votes.

Also, if you let wolves spread their votes out among multiple players, you probably shouldn't report each attack in your recaps unless someone died. Otherwise the wolves would never spread votes, since they're just confirming extra townies.

I will GM after robin,
Name: I've said it before but... Werewolves, They Keep Spreading!!!
1. With roles come teams (respect your rightful owners wolves, you don't wanna be lynched)
2. Standard rules
3. When killed, people have to vote who does burial (will become a wolf)
4. There will be 3 Convos, Red team convo, blue, and coyote convo (not counting your convo with GM)
Town
1. Villager | Standard Villager
2. Bodyguard | Standard Bodyguard
4. Funural Man | Takes out bodies
Werewolf
1. Werewolf | Has an owner
2. Coyote | Under Werewolfs name
3. (Same role) | kills owners (meaning secretly other team)
I guess I'll say when to put me on the list.

Bigd, just an honest recommendation: I suggest you play a few more games before trying to run one?

Sent from an iPod 65, illegally talked about because of partnership. iPod 65 teleports through years like Back to the Past (Sequel to Back to the Future except in 2096).

Hmmm...I'll come up with a game in the next few days, it won't be complicated though. Maybe I'll do something TTT themed, who knows.

I've been kicking around the idea of doing another run of Moonwolf for a while now, and I've finally gotten around to doing it.

Here's the rolesheet. As always, I'm open to questions/comments/discussion.
Don't suppose you tracked which changes you made from the last version? I can't remember what feedback we saw then, although I suspect it was pretty positive.

unrelated: I've been playing a lot of ipad-mtg lately :)

I implemented most of the changes that were mentioned at the end of the last MoonWolf- all that I could remember off the top of my head, at least.

Changelog (also off top of head):
Changed tie-vote rule so that the most recent vote wins, as opposed to the longest standing vote.
Changed units in vampire rules text from quarter-human's-worth to just quarts.
Allowed vampires to gain Toughness by consuming eight quarts of blood in one (four-day) month.
Renamed Toughness to "an extra life" for clarity, because I couldn't be arsed to add yet another section to the rolesheet.
Clarified the Order of Powers.
Nerfed Slayer of the Wicked to be more in line with a typical town-vigilante role, instead of a buffed alignment cop.
Renamed Lunar Mystic to Thraben Instector, because that's a card now.
Changed Havengul Runebinder slightly. Not sure if this constitutes a minor buff or nerf.
Added Village Ironsmith / Ironfang, a wolf role with an extra life, for obfuscation.
Gave Liliana an extra life as well, also for obfuscation.
Changed how Spirits work entirely- now, all the dead get to vote one one single action to carry out each night.

Is that everything? I think that's everything.

Alright, here's the first draft of my game. Link

Feedback greatly appreciated...This is almost totally from scratch so I have no idea how this will play out.

Regarding the Investigator role...you should ensure there are at least two of them in any game, even if it means removing another role. Having no role reveals on death just turns a game into a boring, silly game of rng-killing.

What would the output be from the investigation?

D1: Pyure is lynched
D2: Erindalc announces: "Pyure was lynched"
D2: Vikestep says in private convo "Investigate Pyure's death plz"
D3: Erindalc announces: "Pyure, who was lynched yesterday, was a psychopath"
D3: Everyone else announces: "I'm shocked at that turn of events."

The output would be:

D1: Pyure was lynched
D2: I announce: Pyure was lynched!
D2: Vikestep (Detective): Investigate Pyure
D3: I announce: A detective found the body of a psychopath!
D3: I PM Vikestep: Pyure was a psychopath.

But, I might change it so you can choose to target the body of a CT kill, Traitor kill, or Lynch each night, and that its revealed immediately, in addition to the normal investigation. So something like this: Added.

D1: Vikestep (Detective): Investigate Lynch victim
D2: I announce: Pyure was lynched! He was immediately investigated and found to be a psychopath!
D2: I PM Vikestep: Pyure was a psychopath.

Think that's a good idea?

For the investigator:

D1: SoraZodia (Investigator): Investigate Pyure
D2: I announce: An investigator found a psychopath!
D2: I PM Sora: Pyure is a psychopath!

That sounds double. Why would you PM Vike? He already knows that, because everybody does. :)
It does make sense for the investigator though.

I like the complexity of this game. :D

Banning people from other games you'll host is way to harsh

Yes...it is. That's the point. You can ask me if you want to make a comment or something along those lines, but I'd rather dead people stay dead.

And I did say may...its a case by case basis anyways. Unless you're a really big jerk about it I won't ban people.
