You guys have played a bunch of games already and I bet someone brought this up before:
Calling the town habitants "Villagers" always reminded me of Testificates.
How about Villagers vs. Zombies
The villagers would have roles like Librarian, Blacksmith, Iron Golem
The zombies could be villager zombies or baby zombies etc.

Well, they don't have to until they learn their role. And they might not learn their role until much later in the game.

It could be fixed by having a person on the town side who has to do the same thing.

Heil nailed it, though he didn't realize something similar is already in the game. This would be a wonderful Jester strategy.
