Mine is gonna be a skyrim themed game :) was it hard to guess? I'll decide on some finer mechanics later, like whether to include items or not

Ack it just occurred to me that first-come, first-serve might not be entirely fair on the very first day of this thread---I know, for example, that the_j485 is really keen on running a Borderlands-themed game, and it would be terribly unfair if he logged in late today and found himself in 10th place. So in the interests of fairness, I think it's best if I wait 12 hours for people to express their interest, then sort them all by RNG before adding them to the list this evening. (As of now, the only people on the list are people who called dibs on running a game before I posted this thread---if you can point to a post in another thread where you expressed interest in GM'ing, please let me know.)

Hopefully this is fair. I'm sure you'll tell me if it isn't :)
I still want to be last on the list, as I just hosted/am hosting one.

Updated the OP (goreae, I put you behind GPuzzle given your requests to be last; I'll put any other players after you, though, and you can always defer to them when your turn comes up).

I'm noticing a trend in these victories, Villagers!

goreae and ICountFrom0: If you have an easy list of who was killed by who in your games, I could add a "Statistics"-type section to the OP---would be cool to know how many Villagers died by lynching vs. werewolf kills, for example.

I'd like to request pin on this thread.

All the deaths are in the notefile, you've got permission to do anything you want with it, it's all posted at the end of the thread.

This thread can also contain any various ideas.

How about a paranoia themed game. Everybody starts with 6 clones. You get your equipment, your equipment determines role. When you die, your equipment is randomly scattered to a living player who has a free space for an equipment. Equipment with no free slot to land in is lost. Players may or may not have a mutation. When all clones of all players are dead, victory is determined by score, and teams are determined by who had the role determining items last. +3 for killing a spy, +2 for killing a commie (anybody on any other team), +1 for each player that lived each night, -1 for killing your own teammate.

Medical scanners, metal detectors, zap guns, grenades, all kinds of fun things might happen.

While I'm listing ideas. In a modern theme game, a chameleon kill ability that lets the player pick how the kill they make happens. So they can frame wolves, poisoners, serial killers, or...

GPuzzle --- Left 4 Dead-themed Werewolf, where the wolves are the survivors, criminals comprise the army, and every public washroom holds an abandoned a cache of assault rifles!
I can't stop laughing at the public washroom part... It's just hilarious.

A pin would be nice, since werewolf seems to be the biggest game on the forums now. I think you should also put Peggle's role dictionary in the OP for reference.

Anyway, mine isn't going to be themed, but some of the roles and mechanics I've come up with myself. If anything, this this game will be utterly ruled by the Random Number Godess.

Okay, updated the new GM roster and added some nifty stats (check out the lynching stat, specifically---that came as a surprise). I'm going to Minecraft now before I edit in the rules, pare down the word count, then request a sticky.

OK, I have my roles ready, its going to be minimum 14 players, maximum 24. I have created a few roles but most of them are just the existing roles with new names. I have 4 teams, Team Werewolf, Team Vampire, Team Imperials and Team Stormcloaks. If the werewolves and vampires are killed, whichever allegiance has more players (imperials or stormcloaks) wins. There will be 2 werewolves, but there are 2 roles that can be converted into werewolves. On top of this, each person has a race (10 races you choose from when starting skyrim) and each of them have different attributes. More details will be put out when I make the thread :). The werewolves and vampires can win together or separately.
