Our second chapter draws to a close. Those in New Sadnessdeath, though disheartened by the sheer amount of people still alive, took comfort in the fact that death would soon be upon them. Like clockwork, the toddler of legend waddled out of his mini-box waving Lynch like a torch in the air. What would he do? The people held their breath.
Before the toddler could twitch a finger, though, lightning arced down from the heavens to strike the earth just feet from
LivingAngryCheese. Wow! He remained alive and well, thankfully (?), with only his eyebrows singed off. Such a stroke of luck certainly wouldn't come again.
Remember how the citizens were holding their breath before the lightning thing? Read back. First paragraph, last sentence. See it? There you go. Anyway, poor
trajing was so caught up in the moment that he forgot to exhale, and sprawled unconscious on the ground before the toddler could make any concrete decision. Naturally, the town couldn't pass up such an easy target. They riled the toddler into a savage bloodlust, goading and taunting him until he Lynched trajing to a bloody pulp before regaining control of himself. So mangled was traj's body that he couldn't even be recognized. Shame.
As this spectacle was going on, one person decided he'd had enough of this crazy town and would attempt an escape. His name?
Albert Einstein Fraction2. In traditional Sadnessdeath fashion, his grand escape consisted of beating his head with a stone until he passed out, hoping
really hard that he'd wake up somewhere different. When the others found him, they discovered a few extra whack marks in his forehead and a suspicious absence of rock-based objects. Seems someone had come back to finish the job. The still-bloodthirsty toddler was too angry to thoroughly examine the body, leaving Fraction's role undiscovered as well.
The group turned homewards, less than eager to spend another night on the cold dirt.
Vikestep, bless his soul, volunteered his box for another bonfire. He quickly fell asleep. Luckily, the smell of s'mores and formaldehyde woke him before the fire got too hot. He trundled out, smoldering yet alive, with only slight a confusion as to why his left arm was not his own.
