unusual and unexpected and frequent crashes

I have been playing ftb ultimate on a whitlisted server for a few days and everything has been fine. then out of the blue every time I get on I crash. I don't think it is server side I think it is client side. here is the pastebin

Uninstall all your java.

Restart.

Install java 7u21 x64.

Your running u17 which is buggy.

Please post a new pastebin if the crash happens again.

Try again without optifine and give me another pastebin. It's a render error and I want to be sure it's not that first.

I deleted optifine and restarted my computer everytime I try to open my inventory or interact with anything really that is when it happens

When I saw this in the error log I knew he did. Either that or he did @mod.xxx with another mod that has colored text though I have a feeling it was xycraft.

Please follow these directions to solve it:
Back up your save. Delete the NEI folder and NEI.dat from the individual save's folder. There is an NEI folder and an NEI.dat just inside the saves folder, you can also delete those if you'd like though I've been told they do not need to be deleted. If this is a server you are playing on you need to look in the folder that has the same name as the IP of the server.

it worked! for now can I redownload optifine? and did I have the right one?

Yes please try it and as far as version I need to make sure of your definition. If by version you mean 1.4.6 that will work in 1.4.7 so you were fine there. If by version you mean HD_U_D5 then that might be the correct version. I do not use Optifine so I do not know all the versions and their differences, but if you install it back into the jar mods folder and post the error if you get one we may be able to help.

Also one of the common suggested things to fix errors is to have the path for the FTB folder have no spaces or special characters in it. If you have no luck with any of the Optifine versions and we do not know the cause of the error you might want to try changing your user name in windows to something without that period in the middle.
