So, I've got a little perpetual energy jig set up, pulling lava from hell to supply my base with limitless BC energy, nothin new there, buuuut...came back from a small mining trip early on today, and saw this:
I've seen some thick, blue lines in conductive pipes before, but nothing like that. Needless to say, I quickly turned everything right the hell off. But, it had a curious effect on my pulverizer...that massive buildup, somehow, caused my pulverizer to run at a speed not too dissimilar from that usually found in full-speed rotary macerators, ie: faster than it has any right to run.
Made a note to keep as few engines on as possible (up to 11, now), because I've had my pipes melt from that buildup, and gold pipes ain't exactly cheap. Never knew it could get that bad, and I've not fiddled with the energy loss config option for BuildCraft, either. I'd still like to know how that pulverizer thing happened, if I could find a way to cause it to happen on my terms, in a controlled manner, I could have a system to store a buildup in the pipes, and when I put things in the pulverizer, boom. Done in a matter of seconds. I'd sketch it out now, but...its 5:30am where I am, and I should probably sleep before I end up a lifeless husk.
