And not a single birch to be seen...
Everything I say turns into an argument.
I made three builds
Firstly, I was inspired to do something with the Quartz by Saice's lovely build. I've never actually used quartz as a building material before, but I used all 3 types of Quartz and smokey quartz blocks in this. I used Thaumcrafts nitor for lighting.

Secondly, underground biomes. I felt I used a lot if different materials in the first build so wanted to see if I could make something nice using only a few materials. Flint for the floor, granite and andesite bricks/brick slabs for the walls/roof. With stone torches for lighting

And lastly; MFR. I used the stained glass from I think forestry, the white/blackstone from MFR and Thermal Expansions Illuminators (coloured black and white)for light. It's a very monochromatic build (Have you noticed I like monochrome?)

Nah this aint no argument I'm just needlessly defending Mojangs creative decisions. Also I'm a fan of clay[DOUBLEPOST=1372788963][/DOUBLEPOST]
I really like the windows on the second build! Really cool original idea!
Thanks Saice .nice builds Poppy.
Ummm.. that's an interesting... house. Here's a nuke base I made. I blew it up, but my laptop got too mellty in the world to take any screenshots.
It would blow up in a non-desert biome. Some other random stuff in there, idk why really.

I did that the first time I built it. Then I stepped on it while building the roof. That house looks umm... *Glitch*
House. Gone.
You should add pressure plates beside the door, as with all good houses.
