Everything I say turns into an argument.

Nah this aint no argument :) I'm just needlessly defending Mojangs creative decisions. Also I'm a fan of clay[DOUBLEPOST=1372788963][/DOUBLEPOST]
I made three builds

Firstly, I was inspired to do something with the Quartz by Saice's lovely build. I've never actually used quartz as a building material before, but I used all 3 types of Quartz and smokey quartz blocks in this. I used Thaumcrafts nitor for lighting.

Secondly, underground biomes. I felt I used a lot if different materials in the first build so wanted to see if I could make something nice using only a few materials. Flint for the floor, granite and andesite bricks/brick slabs for the walls/roof. With stone torches for lighting

And lastly; MFR. I used the stained glass from I think forestry, the white/blackstone from MFR and Thermal Expansions Illuminators (coloured black and white)for light. It's a very monochromatic build (Have you noticed I like monochrome?)

Hope you like :)

I really like the windows on the second build! Really cool original idea!

I love clay blocks, and I really don't care that cyan clay looks gray, I just thought it was kinda strange.

MEMEME.

First of a quaint little cote perfectly suited for your 9x9 needs. (warning, building this in actual survival will turn it into cinderblocks really fast, warning)

But wait! How's about a little king of the hill action?!

And last, but not least, who could resist living in a wonderful meat blocks house with a poo moat?

I mean look at the cuteness! How could you say no to those bleak lifeless eyes and putrid blocks of decomposing meat.

Oh here's another one, although, this one ain't about aesthetics.

Are you on a new world? Pressed for time? Wanna start building up instead of down, but don't have enough mats for a roof? Have no fear! This 100% spider proof build has got your back!

It would blow up in a non-desert biome. Some other random stuff in there, idk why really.
