You haven't said anything about yourself being female. I'm disappointed.

EDIT: Oh, and GPuzzle, I can't wait for chapter 2.
Thanks. And he and Choc were rule 63'd, it actually started when I joked with Morgs and Ex about shipping a rule 63 Ex and Morgs, ended up turning into this story (the shipping will only come by chapter 3).

Guys, the zombie story will move into Ex's forums (THE LINK WILL NEVER BE FOUND UNLESS EX HIMSELF GIVES THAT TO YOU!) (note: I probably will copy and paste the story to here)
Anyway, stay with the second chapter!

Choc was a terrible driver.
There's no doubt she was. I lost the count of how many times she hit another car, even though most were just slightly, and I think half a dozen zombies were run over.
"Sorry, guys, I'm not a really good driver..."
And there goes another zombie. Me and Liara weren't exactly comfortable in the back, and Ex clearly was annoyed by how fast Choc was driving. Her katana had disappeared again, God knows why.
"We can see that, Choc." Ex was being a deadpan snarker. I'm kind of a snarker myself, just mixed up with large ham. Why am I talking like I am in TVTropes? The world has ended and I doubt we are going to be able to acess it ever again.
"Do we have a plan? I believe that's the most important thing right now."
"G, people are escaping through routes the military set. The city has been desert except for the occasional zombie and survivor during the last two days. For all I know, heading there is going to be problematic. Crowds aren't really a good place to be in the zombie apocalypse. Sure, the military can protect us, but who knows? I'd rather take the long, safe way, than delve into a place where a lone zombie can kill us all."
"So what's the plan then?"
"We have to find a convenience store, and a trailer. Or maybe a truck. Preferentiably, a bus." Ex said.
"So we're making this a deadly trip?"
"Yeah."
"Greatest holiday ever."
The van turned right and drifted. Choc hit a pair of zombies, and their guts went flying. A few minutes after, she stopped the car.
"Any problem with the tires? I can fix that with some gum."
"No, Ex. Look to your right."
"A grocery shop that wasn't looted! Aleluhah! It's a miracle!"
"So that's our #1 food supplier for the trip, huh?"
"Stop that, G, do you want to go back to the airport?"
"Choc, I'm not even going to compare the airport to this. This is so much better than t-"
I was cut short in my phrase because, after I opened the door, I was kicked in the face.
"Who the hell did that?"
"Sorry, I didn't mean to do that. I thought you were a zombie."
"Well, that still doesn't give you a reason to kick me in the face!"
"G, stop that. Remember, we are trying to escape in a safe way, and if you keep screaming like that, you'll alert the zombies. Besides, someone who can help us is a good person to have on the van."
"Right, Ex. How do you know so much about zombie apocalypses?"
"It's just common sense, dude. Also, check your pocket."
"There's just a packet of gum and a pen..."
"No, your other pocket."
"Wait, there's one piece of paper in here! I'll read it out loud."
"GPuzzle is a son of a bitch - signed: PeggleFrank. Wait a second, Peggle isn't even in this story, how did this end up here?"
"Interdimensional portal." Ex said. If she wasn't really laughing at the whole situation inside, she was doing a good job of hiding.
"Right." I rolled my eyes, uninterested. "But how do you know about that?"
"There's a lot of stuff you don't know about me."
"Sure."
"Wait, are you from the FTB forums?"
"Yeah. Who are you, since we haven't asked that."
"Random Moped."
"And thus that explains why you kicked me in the face."
"Shouldn't we be raiding the store? It's almost sunset." Said Liara. She clearly was annoyed by all of this. Dunno, feelings or something. I'm not really good with people - you get the point. But she was right, night is NEVER a good time to be without food in the middle of the city when the zombie apocalypse is going on. For all I know, zombies get weaker in the sunlight - dunno why. Maybe it's their predator instincts kick in - it's easier to catch your dinner when he can't see you.
We quickly raided the store - there was plenty of canned food, water (and other drinks), some lanterns, batteries... Man, there was everything in there - and moved on. Ex's plan was to stop as soon as we could see a farm that didn't have people in it - or any where we could stay. Turns out all farms were occupied. Tons of people were living there and, honestly, being in a farm during the zombie apocalypse isn't really a good idea. We stopped for 15 minutes to have dinner, which was canned beans and water - besides some gun and raisins.
"We should have a system of rotation for drivers. Choc, then Moped, then Liara, then me, then G. Also, we should be awake during the one that comes before us. For example, I'm awake during Liara's turn, Moped is awake during Choc's turn..."
"Who died and made you leader?"
"Preety much everybody, Choc."
"Right."
After she said that, I, knowing that this wasn't really a 5-star hotel, but it was better than being a zombie, fell asleep on a neck pillow that we raided from the store.

3rd chapter is here!

The van went over a rock, and shaked quite a bit. My head hit the door, and I woke up. I wasn't hearing anything, I didn't know what time it was, and the pocket pillow I carry in travels wasn't doing much. My head was hurting quite a lot, and I was preety dizzy. I tried to see what the hell was going on.
Choc and Moped were sleeping, Choc was resting her head on Moped's shoulder. Be it by accident or be it because they liked eachother, I really couldn't think of anything. Honestly, I barely could think. I hit my head preety badly.
Suddenly, I hear a laugh. Sounded distant, but I suddenly realized it came from the passenger's seat.
"Are you serious?"
"Do I benefit in anything from lying?"
"Well, you didn't say what was your dad's work."
"I was born in Australia, so I didn't lie there. I never needed to say my dad's work, it just made me sound like one of those bronies."
Ex and Liara. I had woken up at Ex's turn. I looked at my clock. 2:47.
"C'mon, we're in the 1% of the population that survived outside bunkers. We don't need to lie to eachother anymore, Ex."
"I mean, are people going to believe in me? No. They're not. That's why I act naturally and try to be a normal person."
"Nobody is normal, Ex. Everyone is weird in a way. Why do we lie to people? Because we don't want them to be hurt? No. We lie to people because we want to hide our problems. What we consider 'weird'."
"Liara, that was one hell of a speech."
"Really?"
"Yeah. Liara, you're like a sister to me. You're always there when I need you. That's something I've never actually felt before. Someone who understood my problems. Someone who I really like. Someo-"
"If I'm a sister to you, do you want to make incest?"
"Is it wrong if I say yes?"
"No, mainly because we're not blood sisters."
"Then yes."
The next moments were something you'd expect to come out of a mix of a lesbian porn movie and a romantic comedy. It was slightly arousing and amusing, but then I realized those to were my friends. After the kiss ended, which took about 30 seconds (quite a lot, considering we were on a van in movement), I said:
"So how are the two lovebirds doing?"
"Goddamnit, G, where did you came from?"
"I was awake during that speech of yours, Liara. Doesn't really matter, I won't tell anyone unless you want to. If I secretely started dating a person I like and one of my friends knew about it, I would ask for him to keep his mouth shut. If I was that friend, which I currently am now, I would keep my mouth shut."
"Thanks, G."
The rest of the day was kind of flat in comparison to that moment. That is, if we exclude the second part of Ex's plan being completed.
"G, wake up! This isn't time to perform the siesta!"
"Hey, I wasn't able to sleep, remember? I woke up during your turn!"
"He has got a point, Ex. But honestly, I think we're going to take sometime in this."
"Wait, G's there? And he's trying to sleep?"
"Yes, I am. Who the hell are you?"
"If I said that I am part of Gurren Lagann, would you believe?"
"That'd be interesting for a change. As long as you don't chop me into 666 different pieces."
"C'mon, I'm not my avatar."
"So it's Jess. Bingo. What do you have that we're changing vehicles?"
"A trailer."
"Does it have a bed?"
"A few bunk beds."
I looked down. He had a knuckle duster with a red liquid in it.
"Did you punch a zombie with that?"
"Uh, no, that is actually tomato soup."
"Really?"
"Really. Smell it, it's actually tomato soup. It's not zombie blood."
"Seriously? Aren't you going to punch me in the mouth?"
"I'm not an arsehole, G."
"I was joking."
I smelled the knuckle duster.
"That's actually tomato soup! How the fuck did this happen?"
"I don't know."
Around five seconds later, I had all my stuff and was helping with the vehicle change. All the stuff we had from the van was put in the trailer, and around half an hour later, the trailer was moving. We made sure to get everything from the van - we didn't want to lose anything.
Around 17:00, I woke up. Ex, Choc, Liara and Moped were sitting on a table, with a map in front of them.
"We are heading east, right?"
"For all I know, that's probably where we're going to find safety."
"Don't you guys feel weird that since the airport we haven't been attacked?"
"Yeah."
"Oh, hi, G."
"I don't know, maybe the zombies have concentraded in cities, and we've been driving in a desert for hours. We are far away from anything in a 250km radius. That's the hypothesis that makes the most sense to me, anyway."
"Right, Ex. And there's also someone controlling the zombies who constantly repeats the Evil Overlord List from TVTropes."
"Don't be ridiculous, G."
"Anyway: do you need any help, Jess?"
"I do. I'm trying to see if we get any signal of survivors who are trying to contact via radio. Can you help me with this?"
"Sure."
After a few minutes of multiple station switching, we actually managed to recieve a transmission.
"Hey guys! We've got a transmission!" commented Jess. The guy was cheering in the same way a football fan would if his team had won the Libertadores or the Champions League.
"Hello there. Name's Law. I'm here with J, and we're in this abandoned hangar. There's an helicopter here, but we need provisions if we want to evacuate someone. It's to the west of Tucson, Arizona. If anyone get this signa-"
There was a silence.
"We lost it! It was the chance we had to communicate!"
"Well, let's find them IRL. That's our destination now."
"Jess, you're not the leader."
"I may not be the leader, but I'm the driver and that's where we're going. All right?"
"Right."

"Jess, did you know that the bathroom door has some swears in romanian?"
"I knew that it had some words written in the door, but not that they were swears. And Moped, I didn't knew you could read in romanian."
"Nor did I. Anyway, I am actually kind of glad we raided the store. So many books... And also, do we have any power outlets in here?"
"G, trailers are supposed to be mobile homes. Of course they have power outlets."
"That's great. Anyway, it's who's turn to make dinner today?"
"Yours."
"Then we're having rice with beans."
"What the hell is that?"
"Brazilian food."
"C'mon, why do you always have to do food from your country?"
"Because you guys like it?"
"Good point."
"Where are the girls?"
"Asleep. You know, it's their shift in the morning."
"Sure. Can I talk to you guys?"
"Moped, we're 6 survivors of the zombie apocalypse inside a van, going to an abandoned hangar to find two guys. Everything we say gets heard, unless someone is sleeping or you're in the shower. Keeping secrets doesn't make much sense."
"That's deep, Jess. Anyway, Choc. She's cool and everything, but..."
"You don't know if she likes you?"
"Bingo."
"Well, let me just tell you one thing. When you get a shift with her, only her - or her and one of us, tell her that. Who knows, she may have the same feelings for you."
"The always optimistic Jess, isn't it?"
"Moped, listen here. I am the exact opposite of Jess when it comes down to stuff - kinda pessimistic, and possibly cynical. But I agree that in this situation, there's nothing to lose except maybe some giant UST."
"G, TVTropes affected your vocabulary."
"Damnit!"
"Uh, Jess, how do you know how to go to Tucson?"
"The knuckle dusters and the trailer were given to me by a crazy old man at a supermarket. There's a GPS in it and also a pistol, besides some ammo to it. There's also some solar panels on the top of this."
"Oh, so the sattelites aren't fucked up."
"They were made to last decades. Of course what happens on Earth doesn't affect them, so for they it's like they've lost their signal except for some stuff."
"Great."
"So, uh, do you guys want corn with the rice?"
"Yeah, that'd be interesting."
"Put it on, G!"
Soon we were eating the dinner, which took me around 30 minutes to do so. After Moped finished, he started driving. Choc was surely a bad driver, but it seemed that Jess, Moped and Ex were the rule, rather than the exception. I wasn't really a good driver - nor was Liara - but considering that, before the zombie apocalypse happened, I had 3 years left to get my driving license, it actually made a bit of sense that I couldn't drive well.
"G, could you play anything? It's getting boring."
"Right."
Until my turn, I played quite a bit of stuff, despite asking for 15 minutes to warm up. I hadn't played for 5 days, and that wasn't really good for my skills, but considering that we were on the middle of the zombie apocalypse, I think playing the bass wasn't exactly in my list of "Stuff I have to do now".
Around 30 minutes after I started driving, I heard steps. Then someone turning the shower on. Then someone taking a shower. You get the point.
"Who's woken up?"
"Choc."
"She woke up? Make sure she gets some coffee, we don't want any crashes when it's her turn."
"I don't think the lack of coffee is the reason why she drives so bad, G."
Choc left the bathroom 10 minutes after, despite the bath having ended 5 minutes before that. I guess magnificient hair must take a long time to get right. But I never really cared for my looks, so I really can't say anything.
"Uhm, do we have any eggs?"
"I dunno. G, do we have any eggs?"
"Go check that yourself, Choc, I'm trying to take us to Tucson!"
One quick check in the refrigerator and a 2 minutes after, Choc was having fried eggs.
"So, why are we going to their hangar to Tucson? Just to save two guys?"
"You saved me, Ex and Liara, Choc. Now we have to do the same thing for these two."
"Are they even alive?"
"If they aren't, we can pick ammo and guns there."
"I could use some dual pistols."
"Everyone could use any kind of weapon. Using a bass isn't exactly a really good weapon. Nor is fighting zombies with your barefeet. I guess as a backup, they work, and fighting with a katana is cool and all, but not exactly what I consider 'safe combat'."
"I agree."
"Uh, G, isn't it Choc's turn already? And I want to sleep, so I'm going."
After he said that, Jess poked me with his elbow. It was kind of annoying, but I understood what he meant.
"I agree."
We stopped the car, and Choc took over the wheel.
"See you guys later!"
"Right."
Moped stayed in the room. Jess smiled. I went to sleep, knowing I had done a good deed today.

Commentary on why Ex and Liara aren't in this chapter:
This was supposed to give the rest of the group a little bit more of depth, mainly because the chapters were a bit too Liadra-focused. Honestly, Moped and Choc are difficult to write, and Jess actually shares a quite a bit of me, but he's far more friendly. So this would be a filler chapter if it wasn't for the fact that I wanted to give everyone a distinct personality before moving to J, Law and more action.

Five chapters. I'm actually quite impressed with that.

"So how did you get here, J?"
"Law saved my ass from Tucson. I was running from a group of those zombies - whatever they are - and Law shot them. The guy's a freaking badass with that rifle, I'll give him that. He told me he was set up in this hangar, and it seems that's possibly one of the last safe places I'll find here. A few people can survive given enough supplies - and if we ever need to escape we have that helicopter. I can pilot it, no problem. There's also some weapons here. I took an M4A4, until it ran out of ammo. Now I have this P90, which is far lighter. I like it."
"You're gonna call it Vera?"
"C'mon, G. Let the man talk. Also, TVTropes did some bad stuff to you."
"Anyway, we could help you guys. I mean, we have quite a large number of guns, and while melee weapons are silent, they put you in a dangerous position and don't last forever. Nor do guns, but at least you have some kind of ranged weaponary."
"Thank you very much."
"Where are the rest of the guys, Jess?"
"They're sleeping. It's like 3:00 AM. They need to sleep."
"And you're not because..."
"We need a driver and someone to keep the driver entertained. Or focused."
"Right. Anyway, we could give you some weapons and talk to eachother via radio - we can fly for a while and scout ahead."
"That sounds interesting. If you guys ever need us, tell us. We can get anything you need. That, of course, does not include hookers."
"Yeah, it's not like I'm a necrophiliac. I don't know about Law, though."
Suddenly, I heard steps. Coming from kilometers away.
"They're coming."
"Here, G, take this M3 Benelli. Jess, dual pistols. Now, if any of them gets close, shoot them in the face. That's the only way of keeping them down. They're fully loaded. And there's a pack of ammo, for 9 more full reloads. Of course, there's the 9mm Glock-17 ammo and the Benelli ammo and the P90 ammo... You got the point."
The door opened. Ex came out, her katana reflecting the moonlight.
"You're not defending here without me."
After that, someone came out. More specifically, Liara.
"If Ex's coming, I'm coming."
"Great - any extra hand is a good hand. Now, get read-"
After that, Ex started running towards the zombies. Liara followed her, and they started chopping them down.
"HEY! STAY HERE!"
Exedra appeared shortly after that. J's scream was preety fucking potent.
J looked like he had done this every night. And recently, he had. Ex looked like she knew exactly what they were going to do. It was like she was able to freeze time. Liara was nervous, but at the same time, happy to be with Ex. Jess had his eyes following the zombies, trying to see what he could do. He was calm. I wasn't. I was nervous. I was kinda afraid of the gun, to be honest - the only thing I could fire were bows, and I highly doubt I would do some damage with them.
"I wasn't expecting zombies tonight."
"I wasn't expecting the Spanish Inquisition."
"G, if you're gonna quote Monty Phyton, you better do it at another time."
All of a sudden, bullets were flying, heads were being cut or hit by an axe. A few stray zombies came close, but J aimed flawlessly. In a matter of seconds, however, J, who was a badass, was caught by a zombie.
"G, GO!"
"Jess, I'm not leaving you guys here."
"And you're gonna let J die? Just go, I can hold the bar for you guys!"
I was running towards J. Three were already on him.
I shouldn't let him die.
I couldn't let him die.
I wouldn't let him die.
One.
Two.
Three.
Cock the shotgun.
Fire.
Hold tight.
Don't panic.
I must not run.
I must not run.
I must not run.
One.
Two.
Three.
J was free. The zombies had been given a lead hug.
"Are you ok?"
"Yes. Just in time. Now, my feet..."
"Any problems with it?"
"Yeah."
"Well, I'll carry you as long as you can shoot."
"I can do that."
"Well, I better start carrying you."
Jess was shooting like a professional gunman. Liara was helping him and Ex could take care of herself. The three were holding the bar. They were the kind of people I wanted with me during the zombie apocalypse.
My friends.
"We're almost there."
We reached the van. The shooting lasted 3 more minutes. After that, no more steps.
"Does this happens all night?"
"Yes, but from there we can use a grenade to kill them or a flare to take them away."
"Well, we should stay here for the night. Open the gates."
We put the van inside the hangar. Moped and Choc were still asleep. Jess, Ex and Liara went to sleep. I stayed with J.
"Are you sure you're ok?"
"Yeah. I'm fine."
"J, do you ever wonder if there was a plan for the world? Like this was all supposed to happen?"
"I don't know, G. I know everything happens for a cause. But thanks for not letting me go."
"I just couldn't let you die. Nobody should die anymore. Why did almost everyone have to die? We don't know if this is happening in other areas. Two weeks ago it wasn't in New Zealand. Or in Brazil. According to Choc, it was in here."
"G, I know what that this kind of situation is unreal. People die. You can't do anything about it - unless you are fast enough. And that's what you were. You were fast enough to save me. You can save anyone else. You have proven your value. If I could choose only one of you guys to go with it, it'd be you. The best help is the one that won't let you down."
"Anyway, I think tommorow by noon we should move out of here. We in the van and you and Law in the chopper."
"If anything, moving to a safer place is the best idea possible."
"Well, I gotta go."
"Fine. Think boobs."
"I surely will."

Commentary: ACTION! (and possibly some Ho Yay but hell no I ain't shipping anyone but the ones already shipped). For a zombie apocalypse, this was preety cosy, to be honest, so a zombie attack happened. Yeah, that's the main thing in this chapter. I hope I know how to write action scenes as well as I write emotional scenes, apparently.

Uh, sorry, but how exactly did those two chapters join together? One moment they're driving, then suddenly BAM they're with me and Law.

Timeskip. It's not day-after-day (remember, chapter 3 ends with us picking up Jess, and by chapter 5 I mention that at least two weeks have passed).

But, no offence it's a really good story, wouldn't it have been better to show how we all met?
Also, I have a proposition: as Law and I will not be in every episode, may I write a side-story documenting our various escapades, and also what happened before meeting you guys?

That'd be interesting. Just remember to start before Law finds you and how did he find you (running from zombies).
