I always imagined Blood Magic to be based on Mayan rituals (with the ziggarats and general aesthetics) so that would be palm or chest cutting, thank you. Done for a religious purpose rather then against it, presumably. Not sure really where the demons came in, other then they sounded rather metal I'm thinking ;)

I really only plan to be using passive mobs for it with an MFR auto-spawner, like I do with the AM2 Dark Nexus

I've mentioned the issue to the skype chat who have contact with WayOfTime (BM's author) and we're talking about it right now, but if I may give my opinion, they and the people here have a point.

I don't mean to sound unfair, I respect your discomfort towards the mod content with regards to your religion's practises and teachings, but there is a lot more in Blood Magic than just summoning demons. I can't imagine that if demon summoning is something your religion is against, self mutilation for the purposes of conjuring and manifesting dark/black magic isn't frowned upon as well.

It may be beneficial to just avoid the mod all together if you're uncomfortable with it's contents, and I mean this genuinely.

I will not be using the sacrificial dagger either, if I have to for a certain part of it I will not use that part. Because this is just a game I let it slide a bit though, so I am not against the nether or the dark nexus, or the forbidden magic thaumcraft addon, even though it uses taint, however, demon summoning is too far for me, and so is sacrificing your own well-being. I am just interested in the "Bound Armor" and the other features of the mod, besides the blood and demons.

Which one was the dagger? I'm a bit rusty, is that the one you use to get a pittance of LP from creatures but more from hostiles and a decent amount from Testificates, or the one where you have to cut yourself?

Also it'd gonna be a bit hard to ignore all the blood needed to get your "Bound Armor". Even to get that stuff you need to have a weapon designed to not just kill your foes, but damage/destroy their soul.

Also IIRC there has been the occasional rant about Religion on these forums by people who are easily offended. Not to name names, but man, that one guy was a Whizzball. Not that I care if you wanna report us all, you started the conversation and made a preemptive threat to report everyone involved.

I've asked Nekosune and she says "not yet anyway".
I happen to know that there's quite a few things planned in the TT pipeline, so if there is any runic gubbins, it won't be for a while.

PS: No, it's top secret. ;]

If anything, I feel that what was created in the technomancy mod should be in Thaumcraft, and the essentia tubes in the technomancy

It feels like the technology and magic has been switched around

Sacrificial dagger IIRC the name is one of the starting items of the mod.
