Ah, good, then whatshisface is still able to get things done in Blood Magic, even if he(?) is stuck using self-sacrifice, which is a bit of a waste for some things.
His(?) odds of beating a Elemental is also shafted due to not wanting to summon demons, but hey, what do I care?
I decided to completely abandon blood magic and witchery due to them being to dark.

The sacrificial knife is the starting item that lets you use your own blood, the dagger of sacrifice is the one you use to sacrifice mobs.

Protip: with shining aspects you can have zero nukbers but one left for infinity use on the table or one combine. Coupled with research mastery it can be used to create infinite aspects by getting it to zero, placing on the table and clicking back until you get one aspect, and then combining. This ONLY works on shiny aspects though(the ones with stars above them)
I know someone who maintains a "pacifist" stance in vanilla -- they won't kill anything that's not trying to kill them (and also won't fish). Thus, no feathers and no leather (thus, no magic).
Pretty sure Ars Magica uses books, hence leather. Plus, there's a few things in TC4 that use leather.
