The Thaumic Tinkerer KAMI addon for Thaumic Tinkerer.
An add on for an add on...addonception!!!!
Honestly I tried the runic armor. Fancy graphics but not much use in the field, only thing that makes it kind-of sort-of worth it is the Runic Meteor/Comet Boots from Thaumic Exploration, and that's only if you're adamant on having a runic set.

Stick to Kami, they'll see you right.
But, but, but...the cool particle effects! :(

That is sort of the point. I mean effort/cost-wise we should admit that the Kami armor is WAY more expensive then the Runic, heck I think it might even be higher then a full suit of MPS armor (haven't messed with that mod much). It should be better. That's the point of the cost in effort and materials. You basically need to be able to farm the Wither to make it.

The Thaumic Tinker's enchants on Thaumium armor being so much better then the Runic set is a bit of a problem, but on that could be solved by a few small buffs to the Runic set on the utility side. That seems to be it's main weakness, that it doesn't match in movement or effect (drowning, falling, underwater slowing, etc) protection, not the keeping you alive part.

Then I think all the magic armor options would be near where they should be in terms of quality vs. cost. But that's just my view of it.

Seriously, though, what does match up favorably to KAMI armor?

I'd argue Blood Magic Bound Armor. But that's just from what I've been hearing about the Kami armor, I personally haven't used it.

Good point. Having used both, I'd say that ichorcloth is better than fully tricked-out blood armor, but it's close. Blood armor offers more protection, but ichorcloth offers more mobility. Both have access to some neat unique perks, though - I'm particularly fond of how ichorcloth makes dirt turn to grass under your feet. Pretty much the only other armor that plays in the same league is tricked out power armor, and maybe maxed out Dartcraft armor.

Interesting. I'll have to play around with both of them fairly extensively when I get the chance.

Full speed dart craft armor makes you run on water.

DartCraft makes the speed potion effect make you run on water(and up 1 full block steps).

Its called Kami for a reason (Kami means god in Japanese)
Plus Ichor is a old-ass term for "the blood of the gods". Greek IIRC. So Kami is what you should expect to receive as a result, and you do so with a ton of Ichor.

To be honest, in my last play through I switched between the bound armor and kami quite frequently.

I used kami as everyday wear (Except sometimes the pants, the lighting kept on setting my cursed earth dark rooms on fire)

However, if I wanted to murder a horde of pigmen, Kami didn't help. It couldn't deal with being hit by 20 pigmen all at once, the bound armor could.

You can disable kami pants light by holding the pants in your hand and right clicking.

I should know, I suggested that toggle.
This is wondrous.
+1 Internets for you

(I have a feeling on my last play through I didn't have an updated enough version for it though.)

For me, the constant block updating slowed down my old computer, so I asked Vaz to implement it when he was still devving it. It was done fairly early on.

I wish you could turn off the demon summoning part of blood magic, it's against my religion. (DO NOT START A FLAME WAR OR I WILL REPORT EVERYONE INVOLVED!)

Nah I get you, BM's no stranger to offensive material regardless of religion or such, I'll make a passing comment to one of the guys that know wayoftime and see if we can't raise awareness for a config option or such.

Who said you're wrist cutting? You made that up on your own. An offended mind is an offensive mind.

I'm not offended... I think it's a interesting mechanic and I fully support it. Also what else would you be cutting to get that much blood that consistently?
