Today my friends, lets talk about GregTech
And how when people see the recipes, they say "oh heck"
he thought that ic2, was too easy
and some of Alblakas ideas, were too cheesy,
first came the nerf, which they all hated,
then came new machines, and everyone was baited,
it add new ores, some too rare,
people felt like they were being strangled by a bear
but all in all, I think I've hit this one on the dot,
if you think ic2 is easy, give GregTech a shot.

I liked it although you could possibly have gone into detail about, say, the matterfab or solar costs or something about the fusion reactor.

a few of its machines, names with advanced linguistics,
it's got a customizable multi block for your crafting,
and storage disk, to take your ores from your shafting,
it's got access terminals, you can even search,
you can preformat the disk, heck, make one for birch,
it's got cool cables, they come in almost every colour,
you can make sorting systems, every other one is duller,
it's got dark cables, to cut off your network,
some people could hack that though, what a jerk
so if anyone wants a mod, with good statistics,
the obvious choice is Applied Energistics

it's got black xychorium, white ones too,
those hint crystals, they'll make all kinds of bricks,
they glow but no light, and other cool tricks,
it's got magic soil, for your growth, and magic ice that freezes,
magic tanks made of anything, they'll hold more than a few breezes,
it adds new crops, including corn,
shiny quartz, your walls they'll adorn,
so all in all, Xycrafts a great mod,
anyone who hates it, we call them a sod.

No I like this one! I was talking to another person on my phone that...sucks, even though it's a "High-end" android "superphone" with the same resolution as my laptop...and more cores to boot.

Hell, all I know is greg tech is so polarizing - I brought it up in a post dealing with how expensive chunk loaders were and my opinion was "Greg probably makes mod makes worry their recipes are too cheap, so to counter it they price them high right off the bat" (well, not direct quote but it was what I was thinking).

Funny thing was, I use greg tech with ultimate and it's not disabled. I don't have issue with his mod or his balancing issues, I just see how people react and I tried to sympathize with mod writers a little. Turns out some people feel so strongly about it they'll blow up and ignore ya for even bringing he subject up as an opinion.

So - polarizing, most definitely. Right or wrong ... dunno.

Exedra, this rap was what I gave a 2.3/10. It has no rhyme it doesn't really flow.
And I said I made the chunk loader thread he's talking about too
