Hey guys lukethedude here

I just want to know what the first thing you guys do in minecraft ( modded or non ) I start by of course chopping wood
Then I go mining and grab as much gold iron copper silver and coal I can. Then I start to work on some steam dynamos and power up energy cells to power up my pulverizer and furnace.

You're turn.

The absolute first thing I do on every new map is explore. I look for a location to where I will be spending the next couple weeks industrializing and making my base of operations.

Food can usually wait a while for me. I can hunt down and kill wildlife to sustain myself until my base is a bit more established.

It's only once I find myself having to travel quite far afield to find more to kill that I start planting crops. That is unless I come across a village with crops I can blag or a zombie randomly drops a potato for me.

Find sugar cane(if tc4)
Make sugarcane farm
Go mining for shards and gold
Start research ASAP
Find copper and tin
Make important machines

chop few trees
look for a flat terrain(almost impossible with bop)
dig a hole and make it home
meh i cant wait for this food to grow -> switch to peaceful
collect ores
build redstone furnace
-bored quit.
build pulverizer
automate ore processing
-bored quit.
build 1/3 of real home
-bored quit.
build other 2/3 of home.
that is my current progress in current world :D

I do this as well, looking for my "perfect" starting situation... 1) a 13 block diameter Natura Redwood. 2) a village accessible without too much travel, and 3) any other structures I can pillage.

All after opening plundering my Cheat Chest, of course... :D

I do have to add I use the starter chest XD and if I get a seed where down is snow its gone. I usually go for a Plains or forest build.

I start every game almost entirely the same nowadays. I punch a tree or two for the wood, make a crafting table, make a wooden pickaxe, dig out around 20 pieces of cobblestone, make stone sword/pick/shovel/axe and a furnace, then I go from there.
