Suggest ModPacks for Creation

Had a thought, Island block multiplayer. kind of like skyblock over a void but in water, sand island with 1 dirt and a tree in the middle, break the sand all falls into the void. you could make said server pvp or just raidable. boat to you neighbors open their chests if they are not locked. make the island protected just not chests, you would have to lock them old fastiond with a block on top. or some sort of chest lock even me system. set up the spawn grid so islands are 100x100 10 space buffer between so boats can travel between max islands.

now on a flip side same idea just lava world change a config so iron,rubber, stone boats can float on lava. same raidable rules apply or pvp

if anyone want to take this on as a project feel free to i just ask that you let me know so i can play it :)

also maybe add hqm as to lead players on what to do and maybe not die... well die as fast

A pack based around Mekanism and Reika's Mods(except Chromaticraft), Railcraft also be included for it's ways of automation. Immersive engineering would be in this pack and it's wires would be required for making Mekanism cables(as both of them are somewhat "universal")

And another pack where you progress from no tech, only magic to becoming an android(using Matter Overdrive). It woud be a HQM pack. It would contain Witchery and at one point you would have to become either a werewolf or a vampire. If chosen the werewolf path the quest for becoming would make you feel bad in some way(like the ending of FO4). If chosen, the vampire path would make you feel weird, not ok in someway. And a lot of the quests would give different feeling, make you think about your decisions.

A GregTech pack with one goal: Uses for all resources besides further processing. Bonus points if PFAA:G is in there; not many GT packs have that.

I'm gonna try and keep this thread alive and suggest a multiplayer battle pack like Trident but not as complicated. Probably just be a bunch of weapon and warfare mods stringed together. But I think that'd be fun
Well i've created this. If that fits the criteria ;P

A ModPack properly based around Magical Crops (Like Regrowth but with Magical Crops) I love the mod and wanna try the new layout that splits it into different mods. Just haven't used it because that would break my pack.

Ah. That would be... interesting I guess. You'd have to go some way to make it so that the mod isn't too potent though. I mean, I used Magical Crops a lot the first time around in Monster, and it wasn't bad, but I ended up disabling it the second time around since it removed the need for other mods to progress.

It should be fine as long as the rarity of magical crops increase with the progression of the mods.

That might work. Or perhaps each mod has something that lets Magical crops progress further? So you get Iron and you can get into Thaumcraft. Then you need to grow Cinderpearls and toss into a cauldron with some stuff that nets you Greatwood Saplings. That lets you grow some kind of beans that give you a crop for another mod, say osmium or Yellorite. Then later, you come back with some other magical crops that let you infuse a Greatwood Sapling, and make Silverwood. And Shimmerleaf can mutate into other crops.

So, I'm already doing some testing but it's a pack centered around the TiCon Smeltery :] doesn't sound interesting yet. But no tech Mods. I'll have a bunch of custom recipes like pouring blood on an amber rod makes a blood rod. Or stuff like that. And then the smeltery only gives 8mB (1/18 of an Ingot or 1/2 of a nugget) for most metals and then you use crucible to make native clusters and this gives you 4x per ore so 1/2 a nugget gives you 2 nuggets instead. And yeah I really wanna do this but I'm having trouble with the metal outcome. I might have to right tons of lines for all the ores and fluids.

Like needing to use 4 of whatever ingot and then some other things that reflect the tier of the material Sanguinite requiring more expensive objects than Damascus and such

Iv'e got an Idea brewing about using metallurgy and minetweaker but not for tools. Might start working on a pack. ;P

A pack where Thaumic Tinkerer's infused crops are how you get resources.
I've always thought about doing a pack around ThCraft even though the mod itself is basically a pack in itself. Now the crops would be really cool, have an alchemy sort of thing so then it's sorta like the aspects.

In case you don't remember, I had another idea for a Thaumcraft-based pack where FTBTweaks is used with command blocks to get rid of most of the aspects, except at a certain time of day where the aspects are plentiful. They could go together, maybe?

The only mods for sure are Minetweaker, Modtweaker, Tinkers Construct, ExtraTiC and Metallurgy. So it's not going to have any tech mods because they allow processing of ore so it could be magic but not sure I do want at least 1 or 2 more efficient ways to process. So any suggestions?

That was my first idea, that processing the clusters would yield 2 nuggets each(Ore quadrupling) and so far I think that is still my top choice. Either that or Botania. Or both who knows but this pack is gonna require more scripts than Shamcraft(Shameless Plug)

A blacksmithing pack. You would be a blacksmith and villagers would buy most items you make. And then you use emeralds to buy better equipment. Kind of a tycoon sort of things. Make stuff. Buy Stuff to make more stuff. Use stuff to make more stuff.
