This thread is a PSA.

STOP THE SPAMMERS!!!!!! THEY ARE TAKING OVER THE FORUM!!!! REPORT ALL THEIR MESSAGES!!!! GET THEM BANNED!!!! BECOME A PART OF THE (unofficial) FTB FORUM POLICE FORCE!!!!!

(None of this is official, I am just sick and tired of the stupid spammers advertising their stupid college with stupid stupid stupidness. Spamming is stupid. Stop it, and stop them.)

don't bother with the individual messages, that's just slowing things down.

Report the entire spammer. Don't click in to the spam, click on the name, and report. Every post they made can be removed all at once.

It's actually easier on us if you report a message rather than an account. The way we deal with reports will delete every post in one go anyway, if a message is reported then it's easy to see that it is actually spam without having to click into see post history. I'll agree that spam has escalated again recently, looking at 130 messages in the mod queue right now.

Its good to know what the right way to handle these is; I've been doing the reporting individual posts route, but I wasn't sure if I was doing the correct thing, so that's handy!
