Steve's carts farm will be nerfed. You will have to repair your minecart unless you build extremely expensive galgadorian woodcutter.
I haven't tried the MFR rubber trees, but in the tests I did, it only worked with vanilla trees, neither IC² rubber trees nor forestry trees worked. This test was done in a MindCrack pack ~3 months ago, so it could be that this has changed in the latest versions.
Tbh it's not even that expensive and its higher output than before. So like post above this is a good new feature. Plus who doesn't like variety. And why so much drama over the new features.. Yes, you'll have to build a galgadorian cutter to have maintenance free tree farm, yes... it is very expensive, yes its a pain to make..
It is a MAINTENANCE FREE, high output do once and forget means to creatify your wood/sapling/apple supplies... a very suitable change to an extremely overpowered feature.
Think of the fact that with AE once you make a pattern once you NEVER have to manually make it again if you input it inside the M.A.... So you complicated crafting is easy as going to sleep.Hoo, buddy. If the Steve Cart's Wiki isn't lying, that cutter looks like a real pain in the ass to make.
It's not even really about the materials, honestly. It's simply about the fact that you have tier upon tier upon tier of crafting patterns that you have to calculate how much of you need. Think of the 64k storage cell from AE and what a pain that thing is to make.
