Hi guys,
So over the past 2 weeks I've been doing a lot of interesting stuff with the Big Reactors mod, replicating a real life power station.
However I've come into quite an annoying issue that I'd like advice on - The issue being for some reason different turbines seem to spin at different speeds and have massively varying (stable) outputs despite being completely identical.
All of the pipes connecting them are fine as is the reactor outputting the Steam which has plenty to spare.
Here's a breakdown of the issue on one of my two power stations (Both have the same issue on at least 1 turbine):
Turbine 1 (Working fine): Steam intake: 2000mB, Spinning at ~1781 RPM, Output: ~28059 RF/t, Efficiency 100%.
Turbine 2 (Problematic one): Steam intake: 2000mB, Spinning at ~~1571 RPM, Output: ~15284 RF/t, Efficiency 100%.
Now as I've said both of these are completely identical (In-fact I've tried both hand building it to the same spec and also used WorldEdit to copy and paste it, but I still have the same issues).
Here's an overview of them (Left: 1, Right: 2):
Inside #2:
Reactor Stats (Stored Steam highlighted):
Turbine 2 Stats showing stored steam and water:
Can anyone explain why I seem to be running into this issue? I've tried restarting everything and it still seems to be problematic - My other power station has been running for over a week and I still seem to be having the same issue (In-case it's a spin-up delay which lasts days).
Is this a known bug?
Thanks for your replies,
Chris
