Soartex Crashing Minecraft/FTB on Load

Ok,
Two computers:
Main Pc, and Laptop
Both on a fresh install of FTB Unleashed, Added Optifine to Jarmods, everything running fine.
I try to install Soartex Texture pack... on my Main pc it works fine.
On my Laptop, I can download it (all through the FTB Launcher)
but when I go to Texture Pack Options, and try to select the Soartex Texture Pack, it crashes the Game every time.
I tried reinstalling the Texture Pack, I tried reinstalling FTB, I tried using the Soartex Texture Pack Patcher from their website, and they all crash the game?

The Head of the Crash log says:

It just baffles me... two identical setups, yet one works, the other doesn't.

Yes to all 3.... the game runs fine, all good...
it just crashes when I try and select the texturepack soartex.
As I mentioned in my first post:
Mainpc, and laptop... both identical isntallations.
Same setups
but on the laptop soartex (texture pack) crashes the game when I try and select the texture pack (crashes when I click on the texture pack in the options menu, I dont even get to try and start the game)

Java 7 or 6, what updates?

I have both... Java6 Update 45, and Java7 update 40 on both machines.
I used to have serious trouble with lag, and for some odd reason, installing java6 first, and then java7 over it, resolved the issue.
both are updated to latest version

Remove old versions of java the only one you should have is the latest java 7.

I tried all of the above, still can't get the texture pack to work oddly enough.

My guess is your video card can't load the 64bit soartex textures. John smith is only 32bit. Try loading another 64bit or higher resolution pack like bdcraft by sphax (and mod add-ons) or another pack with mod support to see if that is the case.

I had a similar issue, it was 1 of 2 things (I can't remember which) that fixed it. IT was either disabling optifine, or removing the "Extra arguments" from within the launcher that sorted it out for me. I only had optifine in to disable animated textures in Sphax, so was happy to uninstall it.
