Do not try to attempt to run a server for others off your own PC, pay a company to do it.

I'we hosted hundreds of server on my computer and it workshops so fine. Btw, we are like 6 perplex on that server.
I don't think you understand how much time and dedication is needed for a 24/7 server, you can't just host it off any computer, else you get major problems.
There are many servers who do it successfully.

Also, you may have to reinstall Forge. Worse comes the worse, you can copy and paste the contents of the forge.jar in the minecraft server.jar.

I would just point to a tutorial, besides; if you can't get a server even working easily; I doubt your PC will even manage it.

Having a server doesn't mean you intend on running it 24/7 with 30 players on it - it's not all black and white.
There are plenty PC's around nowadays that can manage to run a server for yourself and a friend or two, without too much trouble, even when playing yourself. It's not optimal, but definitely possible, and most importantly - Cheaper.
And maybe it's just supposed to run during day or something?
