well there's your problemI have been to swamps at night, but not the classic vanilla swamps, I've been to the ones that are added by BoP.
Might be because slimes may be hard-coded to spawn in swamps. Sounds like something that they would do...well there's your problem
You'll need to find yourself a vanilla swamp biome to get the green slimes spawning, however in most applications blue slimes from TiC do just fine.
I don't know if BoP changes any mob spawning, however it doesn't seem to extend green slimes to their swamps by your statement.
It does not. Basically, its name is somethingsomethingswamp but it does not "tick off" the 'okay' for slime spawns. Apart of that: Slime-Chunks still do exist. Though they're usually not easy to find without outside help, like a minimap or similar.I don't know if BoP changes any mob spawning, however it doesn't seem to extend green slimes to their swamps by your statement.
You don't need them anyway. YOu have blue slimes!
This is true for most things, but green slime tools are vastly superior to their blue counterparts.
You can throw some blue slimes in an mfr unifier and you will get green slimes out.
Yeah but unless it takes four blue slimes to equal one green or something it's a bit cheaty, like tossing in one iron ingot and getting a diamond back.
Not really. Green slimes are only a little better in some situations and in a lot of situations you can just use blue slimes. Sure, blue slimes are more common but that's kinda the whole point of having them...
Blue slime only has a base durability of 500, handle modifier of 1.5, and only has a mining level of one, same as stone, green slime has a base durability of 1,500, handle modifier of 2, and mining level of 3, same as diamond.
Have fun mining your obsidian with a slime pickaxe
The only thing I would use it for is a handle, because there are obviously better and faster materials for other things, and in that case it's only slightly better.
They are great choice for main part of tier 2 tools with ardite parts. For tier 1 redstone win vs stonebound, but not for tier 2. Also repair is really cheap, so you don't have to bother with moss or electric modifiers.Have fun mining your obsidian with a slime pickaxe

It may be slow but better than wasting diamonds on it.
What? Doesn't repair come from having moss on your tools?[DOUBLEPOST=1375113762][/DOUBLEPOST]
Diamonds aren't all that expensive and there are multiple ways to get obsidian without them. But we're getting off track here...
