Well I was also being bored in math class and I generally often fooled around in school. They offered me to attend the math lesson two grade levels higher. I also visited the university as a guest two years before graduation from the school.

I had a class once with the special needs kids and the kids who were labeled as "smart" and would go off and do "smart" things. It was a disgusting class. The teacher had to teach at a low level for the special needs kids, which caused the smarter kids to screw around and goof off all the time because there wasn't anything for them to do since the work was so easy. Absolutely awful year of school. Pretty sure I learned nothing.

I take it you were a smart one?

Buildcraft pipes do explode as a matter of fact, when they have excessive numbers of items in them. At least that was the case in Minecraft 1.6.4.

It's their decision if they don't want to give support when certain mods are added - modders usually don't give support for modified versions of their mods either.

But yea, Reika's mods crashing at the mere existance of Minetweaker is an urban legend that is hard to extinct. Spreading bullshit like this without even trying it out is bad.

First, TPPI refusing to give tech support because a server was using Reika's mods, and now RR is getting all whiny? You know, I really hate it when people use "entitled" in a negative sense, because douchebags tend to use it in the sense that no man is entitled to anything, but Christ, some people are just intolerably whiny, entitled brats, aren't they?

Check the dates guys- this isn't exactly a current affair.
(doesn't make it right mind)
At least one of those postdates my telling them to their face it is untrue.

We were talking about conductive pipes.

Aah, I see. Still, I assume that, unless people explicitly say otherwise, that folks' opinions don't change. Granted, that's coloured by my own personal experiences.

Just as Reika and other modders don't give tech support when you run ModTweaker, the authors of a mod pack aren't required to give you tech support if you run additional mods on top of the pack. That isn't being whiny or being unjustified. That's not being 'forced' to support stuff you haven't tested.

Does that make their lies about the non-existent crash code okay? No. But they're not wrong or being *in* the wrong for denying support when others add Reika's, or anyone else's, mods.

As a budding mod developer (Still trying to code my first mod by learning from Pahimar's tutorials), I am kinda sad to see this stuff and it makes me unsure about how I should handle this once I make mods for real: Go Reika's way, and attract hate from modpack developers because they want power over my mod, or go the general way and attract every single stupid bug report because someone added dirt to a block recipe via Minetweaker.
