I personally think that while 1.5.X is superior to 1.6.X, 1.6.X is still playable and is still acceptable to my standards.I'm with Dalek on this1.7.x1.5 onwards has been pretty crap actually. (in terms of gameplay design and features)

With that said, if balance were to occur, you would never see a magic mod in any pack ever again.
The epitome of unbalance is Blood magic. That mod is more unbalanced than EE2 ever was...
Blood armor and that stupid mining setup... Really? millions of health and a miner that can get you ore at a rate of 1 per second...

I know that there's a good reason to say that defaults are important. They are. However, "90% of people will never see them". This is acceptable, you can't very well change something you never know about. But the 5% that doesn't change it and complains as a result are stupid. It also doesn't help that youtubers never cover configs, so everyone has mods installed and never configure them, then complain to the dev about something that is completely configurable.
Those people are who annoy me.
Energy Manipulator is a great mod, shame it isn't updating to 1.7. While there is another mod that uses EM at it's core, it's got too much extra stuff I don't want.Oh god. I love those people that ban things on their server for being "unbalanced". I've been playing on the DNS pack and the server I'm using has banned energy manipulator(AN extremely nerfed version of EE2) for being unbalanced. It only works for vanilla items and everything in the mod is configurable. If you're too lazy to make it what you consider unbalanced I'm sorry but you're an extremely stupid person.
