Immibis's Microblocks are terrible, I found the other ones to be not bad. Well, not nearly as bad as Powercraft. LXP, Tubestuff, and the transporting stuff mod all seem pretty nicely documented.
Did you know that vanilla chests are multiblocks? This isn't special. And we have more than enough storage through barrels and iron chests; you never said what made this new chest unique.Heaven forbid there be many storage options. It sucked how Xycraft ripped off tanks from Railcraft. right?
Care to explain a little further? You say waypoints, I think of Rei's Minimap. Sue me.Wrong.
I never said "nonsense", in fact, the word "nonsense" never came up in my post. You fail at the grammars. So wrong it's not even wrong: it is nonsense. You are saying nonsense.
Your literacy rivals that of a university professor. I have learnt much from your single-word answers.Wrong.
There are far more original ways to move items; TC has golems, RP2 has pneumatics, BC has pipes, MFR has conveyor belts, RC has minecarts; even vanilla has water streams and primitive cart systems.MF had a hiatus before MFR got launched and many modmakers filled the gap.
Xycraft stole the autocrafting table! Universal Electricity stole the project table (for that matter, why aren't you screaming Xycraft stole the Imprinter idea to make the fabricator)! If by "stole" you mean "wrote some code to do something obvious that existed in other mods before Buildcraft existed."
You answered my sentences with the word "Wrong". Your argument is invalid.I fail to see you putting any consideration or thought into what you're writing. It irritates me.
I am at work posting between analysis cycles on a hadoop cluster, nor do I play with powercraft enabled often. I do not owe you any sort of photographic evidence like this is a court case.
It's a perfectly good mod that represents a lot of hard work by its author and I don't like seeing that sort of work denigrated because it stands in (perceived) opposition to a local flavor. Especially when that work has been more consistent and transparently conducted than said local flavor. It's fine if you don't want to use it, but try not to spout the above outright false information just to reinforce your confirmation bias.
Lol, I am pretty easy to get a like from, as long as what you're writing makes sense and is something I agree with. thanks for thinking it means something more though XDEDIT2: A like from Lambert? I must be doing something right!
Sorry, did you really read what I posted?@slay_mithos:
A little bit of research and ta da....
It's not very hard you know.
Sorry, did you really read what I posted?
A video, especially of a guy that starts with him saying a bunch of useless stuff ("forge is a downside" "download a bunch of zip files"...)
He clearly didn't prepare well what he would say, because there are a lot of words and phrases ("hum", "err", "I'll show you in one second") that don't make it easier to understand.
Add to this the fact that it takes more than a minute to actually say anything about the mod, and you obtain a video that is exactly as I dislike for spotlights.
Like I said, and others said too, we need an actual description that will present the mod to us, as well as a documentation up to date and complete.
You all emphasize on how big the mod is, and how much stuff it adds, and yet we don't even have a description for more than half of the blocks and items on the official wiki?
I am not saying that I would be good at selling a mod to others, but if you are going to make a thread dedicated to making people know about a mod (and suggest it in the mod suggestion thread), then you must be prepared to give us more than a 12 minutes videos, and outdated document, and an incomplete wiki.
At the very least, please do try to give us a description of what the mod actually does, that might be a good step to take, don't you think?
EDIT:
Couldn't resist...
"Like, there is a machine that is not implemented yet, that is like a miner" at 4:56.
Yeah, sure, that is great and useful information for us, right?
And why are nearly none of the mod spotlights using recipes from NEI instead of having to setup a world with boring signs and chests?
NEI also has the advantage to show you when there are interchangeable parts, the chest doesn't...
Maybe I am just too critical, maybe I just want everything to thrive for perfection, rather than being content with being average, sorry about that.

You say "crystal worldgen", I think of the Mystcraft crystals.

Except that the Xycraft fabricator is nothing like the Autocrafting table.
And for the seemingly hundredth time, I know all of the differences between the Xycraft fabricator and the Autocrafter, whereas the descriptions for the Powercraft ones are "they are like this kewel thing from another mod".
You answered my sentences with the word "Wrong". Your argument is invalid.
If you don't tell us what this mod does, and just list some words, then people are unable to see how great or original your mod is.
I'm sure it is at least a half-decent mod; unfortunately I am unable to see this. The fact that you blatantly refuse to show us what the things in the mod do or even look like makes me suspicious.
Which is why I am making a wiki! Just started it.A bunch of random stuff about bad documentation
