I smile. People just didn't give a shit about me because there really was nothing interesting I did - trying to help people was the only thing I was good at.

And for the first time someone complimented me on that. And it was a cute girl!

Simon, this sounds like something out of a badly written internet roleplay.

I increased my step's rate, approaching Glade. I didn't want her to run off again. And she did have some weird mood swings. C'mon, I decided to help her. I wasn't going to back down on something I started, no matter he shit we went through. Who was I thinking to again? Oh, yeah, me.

"So, uhm, I take it you do give a shit about bass players, or maybe I'm completely wrong."
Glade
Streets

"Nice, cute, and a bass player. You got a lot more going for you then you think." I say as I grab his arm and start to walk into the coffee shop. I wonder what he's thinking right now...god this sounds like an RP...it would be weird to have your life dictated by someone typing at a computer...what if this entire universe is just a program...what if. Well that doesn't change the fact that I have a cute boy over here.

Ah coffee and a boy...what else is there to have. I say jokingly to myself as we walk into the shop. "Do you like coffee?"

"No, not really. I just wanted to make someone smile for a change. People never seem to be nice for no reason, everyone wants something. Particulary if that something is getting laid."

This was probably going to hell real fast, isn't it?

I took a seat and booted up my 3DS. Dunno, maybe she was nerdy enough to show any interest. Considering how she looked like, probably not.

"That is...sadly the truth. And I suspect you have no such agenda" I smirk as I say this and slightly blush. I look over his shoulder and try to see what he's playing Hmmm I can't quite see what it is... "What game are you playing?"

"Uhm, I don't think you've heard of it - Fire Emblem: Awakening. Personally I liked Genealogy of Holy War more, but what can you do when the game came out for the fucking SNES."

The hole slowly opens, creaking, and both Lorna and Daniel fall into the Thames. It's dark, and you can't see where anything is. You hear a voice, muffled up above.

"Call the rescue! Some blokes fell on the Thames!"

And it all fades to black.

Hospital

"What is it?"
"Well, they appear to have fallen into the Thames. One seemed to have prostetic hands, so that explains why he couldn't move his hands to try to carry the two."
"Uhm. Weird. They're the second and the third that seem to be "weird" according to people who saw them. Who knows what's going on?"
"I have no idea, honestly."

"So you're playing Shipping Simulator" I smile as I say this. "Yeah I've heard of it, the player takes his book of OTPs and tells the others 'Trust me I'm a tactician'. So, how do you actually play because I doubt what I say is true, but first I got to get some coffee." I walk over to the counter and get a vanilla latte. "Okay now how does this work?"

Okay, maybe not so fast.

"Uhm, sorry, I got a bit nervous there. There is the whole shipping part, yes, but it's more of a skirmish-RPG game that has a lot of customization both on individual character level and army, and the whole "shipping" part is indeed part of the strategy. But yes, it exists and it is a heavy part of the game, however it's not the main focus - I think. It's pretty interesting, all in all. Y-you w-wanna play a bit? I mean, I highly doubt a pretty girl like you'd be interested in something like this."

[The Forest]

There was nothing there. He must of been going mad. His madness, taunting him, the voice, always audible, never visible. What had driven him mad? Being isolated from society for so long?

He knew. He knew that whatever happened today would be a turning point in his life, even if it was death. Hearing the crashing of the rabbit and its swarm catching up to him, he knew he could never outrun it. He turned and faced the rabbit. Now he knew he was mad. He stood his ground and drew his knife, preparing to jump.
Forest

As the mass comes crashing like a tidal wave upon Brock, most would be dead due to the fact that a fucking bunny swarm just hit them in the face repeatedly, but they did not connect. Instead, they passed through his body.

Until the big rabbit came, that is.

He went spiraling out of control, before falling near a road.

"Someone call an ambulance! Someone's bleeding over here!"

And it all faded to white.

Hospital
"Another one of those weirdos, uh?"
"All sorts of paranormal occurrences these days."
"They look human. Shouldn't we call them parahuman?"
"Whatever, we'll call them whatever we want! Just bring him with the others."
"Metalhands and Materialady?"
"Yeah."

He was ready, preparing to jump. The swarm was about to reach him aaand... they passed straight through him. Turning around he thought, what the... am I hallucina and the giant rabbit slammed into him, sending him flying into the air. He looked up.

He heard, "Someone call an ambulance! Someone's bleeding over here!" And then everything faded to white.

[Hospital]
Waking up, he groaned. Mostly not out of pain, but because he was back with society. Seeing other people in the room, he sat up and looked over at them.

That was very fast, and pretty hilarious

"It sounds pretty interesting to a pretty girl like me" I say the last part in a sarcastic tone, mocking his small prejudice. "Although, I like fighting games more. One of my favorite games is Smash, I just got the new one for the Wii U. Do you like it?

"Neither does working at a dojo for kids, but the Wii U was a birthday gift from some friends and I chose to get the Wii U version instead of ORAS. And by the way you seem to stutter in all of your replies" As I say the last part I smile because I think I know why he stutters.

"If you want we can go play it?"

Streets

"Man I wish there were a faster way to get home...but I guess we'll just have to spend some more time together and I guess that's not so bad" I smile and laugh as I say this How long has it been since I've been happy like this...and how soon will I screw it up.

"Uh, if you're tired, just hop onto my back. I'm stronger than I look."

You moron, what are you doing? You know your arms aren't that strong. And if she falls, she's gonna hate you forever. No, no, no, no, nononononononononononono.

If she decides to go on a piggyback thing, you're not gonna release her.

I know you trust her.

Now you've just gotta trust yourself.

I'm thinking to myself again, isn't it?

When i finally caught my breath i saw 4 of the prople i met today heading in different directions.
"I guess i should get going too..."
I went to the ubderground lab and turned on the lights. (1 year with no activity sure makes its presence noticed) I thought as i saw all the dust built up.
-sigh-
"Yeah, will be good for a base but i really have to clean this mess up... Aand i started talking to myself. Yup. I'm going insane."
I cleaned all the dust with a turbo-vacuum thing i just made from some pumps and a modified vacuum cleaner.

OCC: I will notice the other guys in the room in my next reply. I haven't forgotten about them just yet. Also, ping: @Nisteth .

I really was tired, I felt asleep without even noticing... Well, if you can call that "sleeping". I was out for probably four, five hours max , I think. Not enough to make me feel refreshed again, that's for sure. As I opened my eyes, the light from the hallway made me feel like I was starring directly into the Sun, making me close my eyes again. I waited until my vision familiarized back to the light, only to then try to sit. Using my arms as support, I straightened my back, which quite painfully reminded of my broken rib, I gasped faintly, sighing right after. I looked around me, hoping to see Esaias - and there she was, still working on her project. I scratched the back of my head, yawning.

-"Still working, uh?" -I said, with a slightly sore voice.

She hadn't really slept the whole night. Most of her time was taken up by the fact that she wanted to get this done, so that Watson wouldn't have to wait for his leg to heal before getting back on his feet. So far, her attempts at making an exosuit leg to take the weight out of it were getting more... interesting. At first, she had the problem with pins and hinges not being able to move all at once like the normal human leg, so interaction was impossible. Ball and joint worked, but it was hard to find something solid that was corrosion resistant that wasn't ridiculously easy to break or stupid heavy. Titanium was her eventual answer, so she had to make another trip back to Mekhan's to pick it up. Lucky she was a scientist.

As she finishes getting the bearings in place, she hears Watson stirring behind her, and she does a quick check of everything before looking over to him and smiling. "Morning, Watson! I'm almost done with the machine. Hopefully it should be as painless as possible." Then she sits down next to him. "Salvaging all those parts wasn't exactly the simplest thing it the world, but I made it work. Still missing a thing or two, but it should be ready really soon. How you holdin up over here?"

She takes particular notice to the fact that he had a slight expression of pain, and his pupils were dilated due to the light, and almost offers to turn it off for him before stopping herself. You're getting ahead of yourself, Esa... he might be bed-ridden, but it's nothing that won't wear off.

I shake my head slightly, forcing myself to wake up. Whatever she is doing, she has been most definitely busy with it -- it seems almost close to done, which is impressive, to say the least. I gotta admit, I feel kind of bad putting her up for this much work -- I would apologize, if it wasn't for her expression. She seemed happy. I'm not the best at analyzing people, so I can't quite tell if she's faking it, but I want to believe that when books describe "an honest face of happiness", that it they were picturing something that looked kind of like hers. Hearing her question, I sigh awkwardly, with a smile.

-"I'm, better than expected, I suppose." -I lay my right hand over the left side of my torso.- "What time is it, by the way?" -I ask, searching the walls for a clock of some kind.
As I looked to my left, I noticed: A few more people have joined us in the room, though they seemed to be sleeping still. The sight of the individuals made me instantly want to lower my voice, I raised an eyebrow, showing a fairly big amount of confusion. I mean, it's understandable, considering most of the rooms are probably in a bad shape -- I guess I just wasn't expecting it. Lowering my voice a fair amount, I turn to my right, to Esaias. I coughed, trying to call her attention to my left.
