The taint is out of control.

I've never been a fan of Thaumcraft but could live with it, but in the Monster pack it's out of control, taint is spreading like wildfire and I have no idea how to control it.

I tried just disabling Thaumcraft but ForgeModLoader crashes saying Thaumcraft is missing. Seems like a bug that ForgeModLoader is dependant of Thaumcraft... But anyway! How do I rid myself of all this taint?

go into the configs
find this line:
# The chance per chunk (1 in n) of a Taint biome spawning during world gen. Setting it to 0 prevents the spawning of Taint biomes.
I:biome_taint_chance=0

change from whatever it is, to 0

I think it's 0 by default. I had a couple of taint chunks near spawn on my server. The problem wasn't them really, I could clean them up rather nicely with ethereal blooms even if it took me a while. The problem, are the tainted sheep, which annoys me greatly. They spawn randomly and spews up tainted land biome on single blocks all over the place.
