Let's assume that goreae was born a Follower. This gives the Church five players, which is unusual, but unrelated to my question.

If goreae isn't the Penitent, who is?

Rule clarification:
Penitent/Infiltrator can write follower in their will rather than their original role. In the case of the Infiltrator, the original win conditions will remain the same. In the case of the Penitent, the win conditions will change to the Church's

The percentages from my memory weren't awfully high. But Gideons clarification is... interesting, and confirms Spwn's point. Let me make myself perfectly clear as to how I, and how I recommend the rest of the Alliance should play this out. We lynch Spwn, ljfa, and then Goreae. It's a win win for everybody. Except poor ljfa and his kitty cat friend. Oh well, we all have our jobs to do, no time for crying.

Vote majority is needed for me to succeed in lynching the wolf, as well as information. I can get both of these if I ally with the Church, the only catch being the Church has to win as well.

I have no quarrel or fondness for either group. They are a means to an end, and I picked the more efficient means.

The church was friendly and accepting after my confirmation. The vampires were cold, uncaring, drank my blood and sent passive aggressive messages about running them.
